What Your Day Looks Like Walk established vibration routes across motors, pumps, gearboxes, fans, and compressors—capturing data with industry-standard tools and analyzing trends to flag developing faults.Diagnose issues through vibration analysis, condition monitoring, and troubleshooting techniques; translate findings into clear, actionable insights.Support motor control systems, including VFDs and soft starters, to resolve performance anomalies and reduce unplanned downtime.Prepare crisp, decision-ready reliability reports that recommend corrective actions and prioritize repairs.Partner with maintenance, engineering, and operations to optimize rotating equipment performance and extend asset life. What You Bring ISO or ASNT Vibration Analysis Certification — CAT II (required); CAT III experience welcomed.2+ years working in vibration analysis, equipment reliability, or rotating equipment maintenance.Hands-on understanding of motor controls, VFDs, and industrial electrical systems.Experience with vibration software/platforms (CSI/Emerson). Physical & Work Environment Comfort working in industrial plant settings around rotating machinery.Ability to lift 40+ lbs., climb ladders, and access equipment safely.Willing and able to travel, including overnight trips. Through on-site, visibility, developed specified and targeted account accounts into regular base accounts across HECO’s service and product offerings
Established relationships with customer purchasing, maintenance, management, reliability, and engineering personnel with a focus on opportunities that allow for repair, product, sales, equipment, management, and reliability/predictive opportunities
Take accountability for communication between all HECO personnel and account personnel during and throughout the quotation and estimating process. Manage communications to ensure that proper follow ups are happening and that we are meeting customer expectations. This does not mean that all communication goes through you. this means that when another HECO personnel is communicating with the customer, you are following up and making sure the communication is clear, concise and completed
Respond as requested to inspect/examine troublesome and/or failed motors, possible replacement motors, or potential spare opportunity motors at customer site. This may include photo documentation, measurements and or other information as becomes necessary and convey the appropriate data to customer service/engineering to determine the accurate parameters of the replacement motor.
Obtain pertinent information regarding any rotating equipment related failures that may allow for the introduction of other HECO service offerings
We’re closely with HECO‘s customer service on all pricing levels and leadtime communication if pricing and leadtime are not in line with competition, explore the reasons why this is not the case and persuade the prospect to the conclusion that HECO is still their best solution provider
Demonstrate a thorough familiarity with all customer associated products, both current and future that may involve any opportunities for any of HECO services or products demonstrate a thorough knowledge of customer status with regard to their spend/budget for each of HECO’s service offerings, and forecast a financial target for the next fiscal year
Demonstrate an ability and effectiveness in presenting project proposals and persuasive, selling with complete follow up throughout the development and/or implementation of all projects, proposed or active, to assigned and developed accounts
Attend all weekly sales calls, and or level 10 meeting
Schedule to attend one-on-one as well as team planning/sales meetings with preparedness to discuss strategic planning, business development, training, refocus of efforts, etc.
Develop and meet sales goals that are mutually set forth year to year
Assist and promote he goes marketing effort by writing and submitting article articles for HECO’s blog with the assistance of HECO management or marketing staff

All interactions, expectations and responsibilities will be performed and executed and complete alignment with HECO’s core values
Represent HECO by utilizing the value proposition that we offer and demonstrate this through meetings, presentations, and dialogue with our customers. This will include dressing appropriately for customer site to visit. Hico logo, Golf shirts or collared shirt with jeans is acceptable when applicable, but dress slacks are preferred.
It is the nature of our business and an expectation of every position in our company that there may be situations which will require working evenings, weekends, and or holidays.
Participation and he goes on call rotation and availability for a telephone conversations during assigned times is required
Assist a/R in the collection of problematic or overdue invoices and bring financial resolved to a rightful and logical conclusion when required
Communication on any job order status, pick up or delivery must be directed through your HECO customer service designates
Maintain all required paperwork and a current and orderly action, CRM entry, expense reports, etc.
Request for shot visitation by our customers must be coordinated with appropriate management personnel
Maintain the CRM data entry policy of weekly schedule, weekly actual and relative events or contacts associated with customer visitation or interaction
Contribute and provide assistance to HECO management or other projects or assignments, where your experience and skills can provide value
