Delivery Partner Job Summary: As a Delivery Partner, you'll deliver the great H-E-B experience our customers know and love wherever they may be. You'll work directly alongside curbside partners as you retrieve, load, and deliver orders. You'll be allowed to accept and keep all tips you earn while completing deliveries. There is no cap on the amount of tips you may earn, and H-E-B will make sure your hourly rate doesn't fall below $19.00 per hour. Key Responsibilities loads product in delivery vehicle; preserves condition during pickup and delivery Engages with customer prior to, during, and after delivery for an exceptional customer experience Delivers customer orders to specified location accurately, safely, and on time Unloads customer orders from delivery vehicle; obtains customer signature for order; may assist with getting order inside Complies with all traffic / safety laws and H-E-B policies Maintains cleanliness of vehicle; reports maintenance problems May perform other duties and attend meetings as assigned Qualifications no felony convictions - Required No suspended or revoked driver licenses, permits, or privileges in any state / county (mandatory) - Required Advanced customer service skills - Required Ability to navigate multiple iPhone applications (GPS, messaging, support portal, etc.) - Required Ability to meet company and regulatory driving record requirements - Required Ability to work as part of a team - Required Ability to work without direct supervision - Required Willingness to work in varying indoor / outdoor conditions - Required Attention to detail - Required Education: HS diploma or GED or equivalent - Required Licenses/Certifications: Must have a valid U.S. driver's license for 3+ years and currently have a valid Class C Texas driver's license (no CDL required) - Required Physical Demands
