    Position Overview:

    The Project Executive (PX) is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the companys project portfolio and ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. This position drives client development, operational excellence, and financial performance while shaping company culture and standards, including The Heatherwood Way. The PX plays a critical role in expanding market presence, developing key relationships, and leading high-performing teams across multiple projects. This position will be located in the Tampa Bay area.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Oversee the entire project portfolio, ensuring alignment with company strategy, financial targets, and organizational goals.Provide executive oversight across multiple commercial construction projects, ensuring performance in budget, schedule, quality, and safety.Lead, mentor, and develop Senior Project Managers and project teams, driving alignment, accountability, and high performance.Manage and strengthen relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.Bring established Tampa market experience and relationships to enhance client engagement, support strategic growth initiatives, and strengthen the companys market presence.Leverage an established industry network within the Tampa market to identify new business opportunities, generate qualified leads, expand key client relationships, and drive revenue growth.Serve as a key business leader for the organization by cultivating relationships with owners, developers, architects, brokers, and industry partners to identify and secure new commercial construction opportunities.Drive financial performance across the project portfolio, including revenue, profitability, forecasting, budgeting, and risk management.Influence company policies, operational standards, and long-term strategic initiatives.Collaborate with executive leadership on business planning, market strategy, and organizational development.Ensure consistency in project delivery standards while driving continuous improvement across the organization.Champion a culture of accountability, leadership, ownership, and operational excellence throughout the company.


    Qualifications

    Education & Experience

    Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.15+ years of commercial construction experience, including executive or senior leadership roles.Proven track record managing large project portfolios while delivering sustained profitability.Demonstrated success in business development, client acquisition, and market expansion.Experience influencing company-wide strategy, operational excellence, and organizational growth.

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking an Innovative AI Tech Engineer/ AI Product Manager to drive the adoption of Artificial Intelligence and automation across our commercial construction operations. In this role, you will bridge the gap between innovative technology and office/field operations, identifying opportunities to automate workflows, building internal AI tools, and enhance data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy problem solver, potentially a recent graduate in AI Technology/Engineering, who wants to make a tangible impact on massive, real-world construction projects. This position is located in Bonita Springs, FL.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Partner with field operations, project management, estimating, accounting, sales, marketing, and executive teams to identify opportunities for process improvement through AI and automation.

    AI & Automation Development: Build and maintain internal AI assistants, custom knowledge bases, and workflow automations (using low-code platforms) to streamline administrative tasks.Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with estimating, project management, accounting, sales, marketing, and executive teams to map out workflows and identify processes ripe for AI optimization.Software Integration: Assist in connecting AI solutions and large language models (LLMs) with existing construction platforms.Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze company data to help generate predictive insights, performance dashboards, and automated reporting.Training & Adoption: Champion AI literacy across the company by creating simple user guides, conducting training sessions, and helping non-technical staff use prompt engineering effectively.Guardrails & Best Practices: Assist leadership in promoting responsible AI usage that aligns with the companys data security and governance standards.Tech Scouting: Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging AI tools and proposing innovative use cases for commercial construction.



    Qualifications:

    AI Technology/Engineering, Minimum Bachelors degree.Foundational knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, and prompt engineering. Experience with AI platforms (OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, or Google Gemini).Proficiency in Python and SQL, with a solid grasp of basic software development principles and APIs.Commercial construction industry experience is required, or equivalent experience working with construction software and workflows. Familiarity with contractor operations, project management, estimating, or field processes is highly preferred.Familiarity with Procore or Sage is a major plus, but the ability to learn industry-specific software quickly is required.Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain technical AI concepts to field personnel and executives alike.Portfolio: An internship, personal project, or GitHub portfolio demonstrating practical application of AI/automation tools.


    Success Measures:

    Successfully launch at least 23 AI or automation workflows within the first 6 months that directly eliminate repetitive manual data entry.Demonstrate measurable user adoption and positive feedback from internal teams using your developed AI assistants.Identify and execute process improvements that result in verifiable time savings for project teams.Establish strong working relationships across departments, becoming the "go-to" technical resource for operational problem-solving.
