    HealthWays, Inc. is accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Habilitation Specialist for BCOC in Wellsburg or HCOC in Weirton.

    This position requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance. 

    General knowledge of persons with a developmental disability. Such knowledge may be gained from personal or family experiences. Ability to communicate with co-workers, supervisor, and clients effectively.

    The schedule is Monday through Friday typically, 7:30am-3:30pm, all evenings, weekends and holidays off. The habilitation specialist is responsible for providing educational, daily living skills, and community awareness training to individuals with developmental disabilities. This is a rewarding position, with new rates, it’s ideal for individuals who have children in school or anyone who wants to make a difference.

    We are looking for an experienced Vice President of Operations to oversee the daily operations of our company.

    The area of responsibility for this role is very wide and thus requires thorough knowledge of various company processes.

    Minimum Academic and Experience Requirements: Master's and/or doctoral degree in Human Service Field from a regionally accredited college or university. Fundamental understanding of accounting, finance, health care and marketing is necessary.

    A minimum of five (5) years administrative, management, supervisory experience in a private and/or public behavioral health agency or other health care provider.

    Responsibilities:

    Liaise with superior to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals

    Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress

    The successful candidate will be a graduate from an accredited college or university with a degree in business administration, major course in accounting and finance.  Prefer courses in basic application and comprehensive of computers.  

    The position requires the candidate to have three years of business office work experience within the function of accounting, preferably within a nonprofit organization that operates on an accrual basis of accounting, fund accounting and utilizes computers.  

    The candidate must be able to work with employees and clients on a congenial, confidential business-like basis; and be able to constantly work with numbers and deadline reports, with knowledge of Excel.  

    Additionally, the candidate will be expected to work independently with a minimum of supervision and able to make logical, realistic, and consistent decisions in matters of fiscal coding of expenditures as related to the budget.

    The purpose of this position includes but is not limited to providing maintenance and repair work on designated owned or contracted facilities, equipment, and grounds or responsible for scheduling for required work to be performed with authorized personnel. 

    We are recruiting candidates with previous work experience in the maintenance and/or carpentry field with a thorough knowledge of carpentry, landscaping, and other maintenance duties.  Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.    

    Typical duties include:

    Repair and maintain plumbing, physical structures, electricals wiring and fixtures in accordance with blueprints, manuals, and building codes, using appropriate tools and equipment.Responsible for maintenance and repair work on all owned facilities, equipment, vehicles and grounds or responsible for scheduling for required work to be performed in cooperation with authorized personnel. Installs electrical equipment, repairs or replaces wiring, fixtures and bulbs, repairs or replaces brick and plaster walls, paints walls, floors, ceilings, or fixtures; repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other plumbing equipment, and opens clogged drains. Repairs various types of furniture, doors, windows, floors, lockers, gates, roofs, ceilings, building sheds, and other outbuildings, digs ditches, trenches, post holes, patches, and repairs sidewalks and streets.
