As a dental assistant with HealthDrive, you will assist dentists in performing assigned clinical and non-clinical duties for the residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long term care facilities. This role requires driving, potentially to more than one location per day. You too, will be supported by our dedicated team! Monday through Thursday - no Fridays!

Responsibilities:
Prepares patients for dental procedures.Assists dentist during dental procedures.Sterilizes or disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays and prepares materials.Records treatment information in patient records.Provides postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist.Assists dentist in the management of medical or dental emergencies.Instructs patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.Cleans and polishes removable appliances.Makes preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts.Adheres to OSHA guidelines regarding patient care, disposal of materials, and sterilization of equipment on a daily basis.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
