Executes customer projects by assembling teams, delegating responsibilities, developing schedules, and acquiring resources to ensure project completion. Provides management and customer support while partnering with sales, customers, merchandising, and vendors, and ensures department standards are communicated to project specialists, customers, and support staff. This position requires operation of a Personal Vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 20% of the average work week. If selected for this position, the company will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
Works closely with customers to conduct thorough property walks of renovation project which includes measuring and reviewing available products, while actively upselling additional products to enhance the customer experience.Inputs data into appropriate systems, generating quotes, orders, presentations, and reports that will support the organization mission to deliver exceptional service to our clients.Acts as a liaison between sales, customers, and cross-functional teams to maintain effective communication, promote idea sharing and creative problem solving, increase efficiency, and ensure timely availability of delivery of products for renovation products.Oversees and harmonizes plans and schedules from all participating functions, ensuring compliance with the master schedule, while proactively resolving scheduling or inter-functional issues.Conducts on-site inspections alongside customers to verify the availability of all materials required for the successful completion of renovation projects, while reviewing all completed on-site tasks and providing final approval as necessary.Serves as a point of contact for all customer project issues and discrepancies and partners with various internal and external departments to resolve all project-related concerns efficiently.Company DescriptionHD Supply (NASDAQ:HDS) (www.hdsupply.com) is one of the largest industrial distributors in North America.
