What you will be doing: The Full-time position of 2nd Shift Production Worker in Asbury Park, NJ will inspect all linen items, feed linen into small and large piece iron machinery, and stack linen in shipping carts or on shelves. The hourly amount for this position is $16.50/hr. with a .35 differential for 2nd shift. What you will bring to the role: Degree or diploma preferred, but we value practical experience.     A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.Medical Assistant Certification or Phlebotomy Certification is strongly preferred.6 months' experience in a Blood Center or other Healthcare environment is strongly preferred.1 years' experience in customer service is strongly preferred.Ability to effectively interact with diverse people and communicate (verbal, written, and listening) fluently in EnglishProficient with basic computer skills and office tools, such as Microsoft Office, and ability to use software relevant to the positionAbility to solve problems and make decisions, seeking guidance as necessary.

    Additional information: This position reports directly to the Donor Collections Manager

    Hours vary daily based on schedule and can be either 7am - 3pm and 12pm - 8pm at our Reading Location

    To best meet the needs of our donors and community, staff work a variable schedule which may include early mornings, late nights, and on-call to cover weekends and holidays.

    A schedule is provided one-two weeks in advance.

    The first month of training will take place onsite at our blood center at 1465 Valley Center Parkway Bethlehem, PA.
