Job Summary and QualificationsAs a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for the provision of computed tomographic radiographs to patients in accordance with physicians' orders. What You Will Do In This Role:
You will prepare patients for CT exam, explains procedure and ensure technical quality.
You will promote individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education.
You will possess knowledge of medical terminology sufficient to work accurately within the Imaging Department.
You will work as a team player and meet the needs of the Imaging Department.
What Qualifications You Will Need:
Associate Degree, Diploma or BSRT degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
Current licensure by the Texas Department of Health as an MRT is required.
Current registration with ARRT (CT) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) is required.
Previous experience in CT in a clinic or hospital setting is preferred.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification is required.

What You Will Do In This Role:
You will be responsible for reviewing and completing appropriate paperwork on every patient as required including exam, scheduling, physician orders, department logs, imaging records, consents, medical records, and patient charges.
You will be responsible for transporting patients to and from their rooms and ER.
You will be responsible for monitoring the equipment for mechanical safety.
You will be responsible for explaining procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
You will be responsible for positioning patients on examining table and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified are of body requested by Physician.
You will work as a team player and meet the needs of the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
What Qualifications You Will Need:
Graduate of an accredited MRI program is required.
ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT required
American Heart Association BLS certification is required.

You will perform tests on in-patients and out-patients utilizing a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment. You will receive radioactive materials, prepare radioactive material doses and maintain radiation records.
You will perform all tasks expected in rotation of hot lab area.
You will utilize established radiation safety techniques and equipment.
You will perform all related duties such as; scheduling, charging exams, etc.
You will take emergency after hours call on rotating basis.
What Qualifications You Will Need:
Graduate of an AMA accredited nuclear school of medicine or Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology is required.
Current license with the State of Texas, ARRT and/or NMTCB license is required.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification is required.
1 year of previous experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
