Job Summary
We are seeking a Tree Climber/Trimmer to join our team! As a Tree Trimmer, you will be traveling to different job sites each day, inspecting trees and landscapes, and trimming, clearing, and removing branches and trees safely using various tools, including chainsaws. You will often be operating heavy machinery, will use either an aerial lift device or roping to get to higher branches, and will need to maintain the highest standards of safety. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors in many different temperatures and weather conditions, is not afraid of heights, and can safely operate many different types of landscaping tools.
Responsibilities
Evaluate a job site to determine the best course of action when pruning or trimming a tree, while taking into account the health of the tree and the surrounding areaUse a rope and rigging system or an aerial lift to access the tops of trees and large bushes safelyCarry off and dispose of all tree debris, leaving a clean space behindAdhere to all safety guidelines and regulations at all timesQualifications
Must be comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditionsStrong communication skillsAbility to use heavy landscaping equipment, including chainsaws, power pruners, and clippersThe ability to work on your feet all day, regularly lifting heavy objects
