Position Title and Purpose of Position We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) who, under the direction of the Human Resources Manager and in full compliance with the associate handbook and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations is responsible for coordinating consistent policy application in support of the HR Department. The HRG will act as primary contact for approximately 100 associates providing information and direction relating to all areas of human resources. The HRG is responsible for coordination of recruitment, hiring and termination, disciplinary action, time and attendance and benefit administration programs along with maintenance of associate records. The successful candidate will successfully coordinate the responsibilities of the position; maintain strict confidentiality of information; be comfortable giving both positive and developmental feedback to both associates and management; and be comfortable working in a growing business within an emerging industry. Salary The salary range for this role is $65,000.00 to 75,000.00 USD, salary commensurate with experience. An Annual Bonus Target representing 3% of your annual base salary/annual wages is paid based on meeting both organizational and individual targets. Major Responsibilities of Position Confidentiality-Maintain strict confidentiality of both company and employee information. Compliance-Ensure that HR services are provided in compliance with established system policies, procedures, and practices in addition to compliance with legal requirements. Cross Functional Support-Serve as internal frontline support responding to inquiries from associates, managers, and external parties regarding HR processes, policies, and procedures. Participate in cross-functional projects providing HR guidance and knowledge and ensuring compliance with system policies and procedures. Policy Administration - Understand and administer company policies and procedures consistently. Participate in the development and administration of effective and efficient human resources policies and practices designed to meet associate needs and legislative demands. Research associate practices and recommend changes or modifications to existing policies. Reporting - complete assigned monthly HR reports, provide data into useable, presentable formats, and keep accurate records of associate changes and movement. Paycor Optimization- Learn and use Paycor portal to its highest degree of usefulness for the HR, payroll, and timekeeping functions, ensuring accurate associate information is maintained in multiple systems; create reports and analyze data. Assist associates and supervisors on the timekeeping system to ensure accurate associate hours for payroll. Recruiting and Hiring - Lead the internal and external recruiting and hiring process: post openings, collect and screen applications, conduct 1st round interviews with hiring manager or supervisor, follow up with candidates, maintain applicant tracking system, prepare job offers, and arrange orientation. Partner with department leadership to work on recruitment strategy for hard to fill positions, providing guidance and resolution. Time and Attendance Management - Coordination of time & attendance program in coordination with attendance policies, including but not limited to: coordination of weekly time review and approval for payroll, coordination of prevailing wage time reports for weekly payroll processing; coordination of time off programs including yearend roll-over/payout. Benefit Administration - Administration of associate benefit plans including, assisting associates with benefits enrollment as part of onboarding, researching and coordinating benefit plan changes, ensuring the accuracy of on-line tools, and assist with claims management as necessary, ensuring legal requirements. Record Maintenance - Coordination and maintenance of a variety of associate records including, electronic data as well as and paper ensuring confidentiality and compliance to data protection regulations. Coordinate and maintain accurate records of associate changes and movement. Coordinate the online tools and programs used to support HR functions. Audit and discard records according to retention requirements. Performance Management -Coordination of the disciplinary and corrective action processes. Serve as the primary contact for staff disciplinary issues. Addresses policy violations in a timely manner and in accordance with established disciplinary policies and procedures. Investigate, document fact finding and make recommendations for work-related discipline utilizing Discipline Review sessions to ensure open communication between the supervisor and managers. Coordination of the organization's hourly evaluation processes, both at probation and annually. Workers Compensation Claim Management-Working with the safety organization, coordinating claims to safeguard the associate's well-being, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and external regulations. Training and Development Programs- Coordination of the organization's training and development programs including new hire orientation, departmental onboarding, electrical apprentice program and tuition reimbursement program. Creation of schedules, documents and tracking tools. Tracking outcomes of training such as records, grades or evaluations. Other duties as assigned, including special projects as they arise. Purpose of Position We are seeking a Construction Site Superintendent to coordinate and manage all onsite activities and work with project team including Project Managers, Engineers, Foreman, and Field Personnel and other office departments to deliver to successful projects to owners, on time and on budget with the desired level of quality. Salary The hourly rate is $35-37/hour which is commensurate with related knowledge, skills, and experience. Purpose of Position We are seeking Solar Installers to work as part of our Field Crew in Jackson, Michigan. Solar Installers are responsible for the proper installation of Harvest Solar Systems while representing the Harvest Solar brand. As a Solar Installer, you will work outside in a commercial construction setting 95 to 100% of the time. Ability to work for extended periods of time on a sloping surface such as a roof. The setting includes outdoor work, working 10- and 12-hour days with exposure to construction site hazards and weather. Work is performed at the job site and locations vary, therefore overnight travel for periods of 3 to 5 days is required.
