PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Residential Solar Installer is responsible to assist with the solar installation process and to ensure highest quality installation possible.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Able to install conduit for attic and roof worksites.Ensure attention to detail with an emphasis on quality and safety.Participate in required training programsUse the proper safety equipment for safe installation practices as directed.Maintain knowledge of code.Perform Installations with the highest level of craftsmanship and workmanship.Be efficient and productive during installations.Follow instructions of the Residential Solar Foreman.Follow Construction Job Flow Procedures.Perform all installation duties.Ensure accuracy of your own time as recorded by the Solar Foreman.Maintain excellent lines of communication.
FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
An understanding of construction drawings & blue printsMinimum of 1 year job related experience (Solar Construction)OSHA 10 Certification (OSHA 30 preferred) or ability to obtain within 6 monthsGood organizational skills, detail oriented, efficient and reliableGood written and verbal communication skillsTeam Player, ability to work in a fast paced environment, flexible and adaptable to changes to planned tasks or schedule Ability to maintain a positive attitude at all timesAble to work productively as a crew member
