    Job Summary:

    As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR department and contributing to the overall success of the organization. You will be responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. Your role will involve providing guidance, support, and expertise to employees and managers while ensuring HR policies and procedures are effectively implemented and followed.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management.Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements. Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs.Respond to human resources-related inquiries.Assist with payroll processing.Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies.Administer new employee on-boarding and orientation.Develop and maintain talent management processes.Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and complianceMonitor employee morale and company culture.Collaborate with the human resources team to develop effective recruitment strategies.Identify future staffing needs.Maintain employee personnel records.Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective action if necessary.Other job duties as assigned

    Position Summary:

    The Beach and Activities Coordinator is responsible for organizing, promoting, and overseeing daily recreational and beachside activities for guests.     Job Summary: The Retail Associate is responsible for greeting customers in a polite and professional manner as well as meeting sales targets, providing concierge services, and assisting the Retail Store Manager with inventory, display maintenance and cleanliness of the Bolongo Bay gift shop.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Promptly greets guests and customers.Utilizes Point-of-Sale System effectively and efficiently.Operates the cash register, accepts payments and distributes appropriate change.Maintains cleanliness and overall appearance of retail store.Maintains order of promotional materials and retail displays.Maximizes profitability and meets sales targets set by the Retail Store Manager.Under the guidance of the Retail Store Manager, implements inventory counts.Assists guests with retail purchases and concierge services including booking guests for hotel and island-wide activities, arranging transportation, dinner reservations, massages, emergency appointments, etc.Responds to e-mail inquiries from guests and potential guests and notifies guests of schedule changes.Ensures compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies.Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Position Summary:

    The Bellstand Attendant shall greet, welcome, and assist guests arriving at and departing from the resort. Assist with directions, storing baggage, basic information about resort and local attractions. Deliver amenities and other items, such as packages to guest rooms.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Deliver amenities to guest room prior to arrival.Meet, greet, as well as open doors for all guests as they arrive to the resort and leave when possible.Guide guests to the check-in counter and offer them a Welcome Punch.Escort guests along with their baggage to the assigned hotel room and provide explanation of the AC control, television remote and safe.Familiarize yourself with guests using their names when possible. Smiling and verbally greeting guests when you see them.Guide and suggest the amenities of the hotel, for example Iggies, Oasis, Heavenly Days, and gift shop.Check special requests and make sure they are ready prior to guest arrival.Maintain neat and clean lobby areas inside and out to include but not limited to sweeping welcome mat and area as well as clean glass lobby doors.Communicate maintenance requests to Front Desk.Ensure that the Guest Service golf cart is in good repair and clean.Have accurate and complete guest assistance information, including, events taking place in town, restaurants and athletic events as well as determining requirements for and follow-up on special groups or VIP’s.

    Purpose

    The Wedding/Events Manager is responsible for developing business and the administration and coordination of all events. The position works closely with the Sales Manager to ensure events run smoothly.

We are currently the only all-inclusive resort in the U.S. Virgin Islands. To be eligible for this position, candidates must either reside on St. Thomas or be able to relocate before the start date.


    Position Purpose

    Bolongo Bay Beach Resort is seeking AM Server. As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for greeting all patrons and providing information about items on the menu including specials and recommendations. Serve any drinks ordered. Properly bill patrons for anything consumed.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Set tables prior to the arrival of PatronsClear, clean and set up tables after Patrons leaveKnowledge of specialty cocktails and cocktail terms (i.e. neat, on the rocks)Make sure work space is always clean ad free of debrisGreet guests cordially, smile! Always thank them as they leaveKnowledge of menu and its ingredientsKnowledge of the specials of the day/eveningAdhere to proper service standardsTake customer orders and communicate them accurately to the kitchen and barFollow cash handling policiesPerform scheduled and assigned Side Work at end and beginning of every shift

    Qualifications

    1 year of serving experience, preferredHigh School or equivalent education requiredBasic Math SkillsStrong communication and people skillsGood organizational and multi-tasking abilitiesCustomer service orientedAbility to develop and maintain positive working relationshipsAbility to stand, lift and walk for extended periods of time

    License/Certification:

    Food Handler (Required)

    Pay: $9.00 per hour plus guaranteed gratuity of 15%.

    Shift:

    In-PersonAM ShiftDay ShiftThis position will have 3-4 shifts per week from the hours of 6:30 am - 2:30 pm OR 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
