Supervise daily beach setup, cleanliness, and maintenance of lounge chairs, umbrellas, towels, and water sports equipment.Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of beachside and resort activities, including water sports, fitness programs, games, and social events.Supervise, schedule, and train activities staff, ensuring excellent guest service and engagement.Monitor beach safety to ensure the safety of all swimmers & guests using the beach resort facilities are following resort policiesKeep the “Beach Hut” clean and organized. All locks are maintained and in good working order.Make sure that the beach towels are stocked and returned to the laundry. Do not leave outside overnight.All equipment is to be cleaned and filled with water and a few drops of bleach every day in the am and pm. They should be free of sand when they are finished.Ensure that all beach toys i.e.; Sunfish, Kayaks, Aqua Cycles, Hobie Cats, Peddle boats, Paddle boards & Windsurfers etc. function, look good and run smoothly, report to engineering if necessary.Work with the purchasing department for all purchasing needs and create purchase requests for approval by General Manager Etc. Ensure that all CPR certifications are kept up to date. (HR will assist)Maintain an accurate log of daily beach activities. (Remember all cash transactions except beach chairs are to be transacted from the retail store.)Start each day with a thorough inspection of the dingy, drain excess water, startup etc.Ensure that all beach attendants maintain a proper appearance regarding the resort uniform policy. Activities t-shirts, name tags, generic or logo hats and approved shorts.Maintain a well-stocked first aid kit, train beach attendants in proper hotel accident procedures including the proper way to fill out an accident form. Maintain accurate inventory of all the supplies needed and turn in reports.Assist with all poolside activities such as Bingo and kids holiday activities etc.Turn in daily forms with Beach Chair money, Keys and excess beach towel cards to the front desk at the end of the shift.Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GEDFirst Aid/CPR CertificationPrevious experience in recreation, hospitality, or beach operations, preferably in a resort setting.Strong leadership, organizational, and guest service skills.Knowledge of water sports, fitness programs, and entertainment activities.Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse guests.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Skills & Abilities:
