    POSITION OVERVIEW
    We're seeking a dedicated Dermatologist to join Harbor Health's growing team in Austin. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive dermatological care while collaborating with our integrated care team to deliver value-based healthcare solutions.

    Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology servicesDiagnose and treat various skin conditions, including skin cancer screeningsCollaborate with primary care and specialists within Harbor's networkMaintain detailed electronic medical records and documentationParticipate in quality improvement initiativesContribute to developing clinical protocols and best practicesSupport value-based care initiatives 

    DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    Board certified/eligible in DermatologyCurrent Texas medical license or eligible for licensure3+ years of clinical experience preferredExperience with EMR systemsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsUnderstanding of value-based care modelsCommitment to evidence-based practiceExperience in a multi-specialty setting preferred

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    We are seeking a dedicated PRN Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care on an as-needed basis while supporting our commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery. This position offers flexible scheduling while maintaining high-quality clinical standards and collaborative care approaches. The Advanced Practice Provider provides medical care based upon the scope of practice as delineated by the supervising physician. Typically provides care to patients in an express care setting in and around our Austin region. 

    POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESProvide comprehensive primary and episodic care services to patients on a PRN basisConduct thorough physical examinations, health assessments, and medical historiesDiagnose conditions and develop evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physiciansOrder, interpret, and evaluate laboratory tests, diagnostic procedures, and imaging studiesPrescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice and regulatory guidelinesPerform clinical procedures appropriate to scope of practice and provider expertiseDocument all patient encounters accurately and thoroughly in electronic health recordsCounsel patients and families regarding treatment plans, medication management, and health promotionCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity and quality of careParticipate in care coordination and referral processes when appropriateMaintain compliance with all clinical protocols, safety standards, and organizational policiesSupport quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice standardsRespond to patient health concerns and provide appropriate follow-up care as neededDESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    Required Qualifications:

    Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantCurrent DEA registration with prescriptive authorityBoard certification by appropriate national certifying body (NCCPA or nursing certification board)Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationMinimum of 2 years of clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, or relevant specialty settingGraduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience in ambulatory care, urgent care, or emergency medicine settingsProficiency with electronic medical record systemsExperience with value-based care delivery modelsKnowledge of chronic disease management and preventive care protocols

    Essential Skills:

    Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skillsExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesAbility to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationshipsCritical thinking and complex problem-solving capabilitiesInterpersonal skills for effective patient and team interactionsFlexibility to work various shifts and adapt to changing clinical needsCommitment to maintaining current knowledge of evidence-based practicesAbility to exercise sound clinical judgment in patient care decisions

    Work Environment:

    PRN scheduling with flexibility for 2-4 shifts per month12-hour shift availability with potential for shorter shifts as neededMulti-site coverage may be requiredCollaborative team environment with physician supervision and support available
