Job Description: Service Administrator
The Service Administrator facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.Maintains filing systems as assigned.Retrieves information as requested from records, email, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.Responds to and resolves service inquiries and questions.Shipping and receiving of service/parts orders (mostly receiving) and staging them for techniciansAssists with creating and following up on service POs and RMAsService Invoicing and receivables.Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite i.e.: excel, word and outlook)Knowledge of QuickBooksExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.Ability to work independently.Previous knowledge of the service industry is a HUGE plus.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or the equivalent
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift to 15/20 pounds at times.
