Locally owned and operated, Hanalei Bread Company is an organic bakery and coffee house in the heart of Hanalei. Serving daily-made fresh bread, pastries, breakfast, lunch & your favorite cup of coffee! We work hard and have fun in our lovely open air bakery. Experience strongly preferred.
Our pastries are delicious, made from scratch with local flavors and baked fresh daily. Make life a little sweeter for our wonderful customers who absolutely love our pastries. We sell out everyday!
Pastry bakers are responsible for baking and glazing all pastries to have plated and ready by 7 am.
Other daily tasks include scooping and prepping all items to be baked the following day, mixing cake batters, biscuits, cookie doughs, filings and glazes, rolling out cinnamon rolls and sticky buns, filling danishes, and baking & packaging cookies and banana breads.
Pastry Chef is responsible for designing the program, recipes, inventory and ordering, as well as pastry baker duties.
