Job Summary
As a Front Desk Agent at Hampton Inn by Hilton, you are the first and last point of contact for our guests. You will deliver exceptional hospitality by providing warm, friendly, and efficient service to ensure guests feel welcomed and appreciated throughout their stay.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in hospitality or related field a plusPrior front desk or customer service experience preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficient with computers and ability to learn hotel software (Hilton PEP experience a plus)Must be able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesProfessional appearance and positive attitude
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests with a friendly, professional attitude at check-in, check-out, and throughout their stayManage reservations, room assignments, and guest accounts accurately in the hotel’s property management system (PEP)Answer incoming calls, respond to guest inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely, courteous mannerPromote and enroll guests in Hilton Honors loyalty programProcess payments and reconcile cash, credit card, and direct bill transactionsCommunicate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfactionUphold Hampton Inn brand standards and ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcomingFollow all safety and security procedures as outlined by hotel policy and Hilton brand requirementsAssist with light administrative tasks or other duties as assigned by management
