    Summary:

    This role ensures successful installation, commissioning, and support of Halton equipment through start-ups, training, and troubleshooting. It involves extensive travel, customer interaction, and promotion of service and maintenance contracts while providing detailed reports and feedback to improve quality.


    Location:

    This is a fully remote position. The perspective applicant must be located in Texas to support our operations in these areas.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Duties may include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary to support quality goals and objectives.

    Completing Start-ups on Halton kitchen ventilation equipmentAttending Pre-Commissioning meetings: onsite coordination with trades for Halton kitchen ventilation equipment installationsOwner/Operator training which includes warranty activation, how to service the system, how to operate the touch screens and how the system works and saves energyCARE visits: onsite training sessions for the end users Promotion of Monitoring Contracts to owners/operatorsProviding owner/operator contact information for SharePoint databaseTrouble shooting performance issuesPromotion of Maintenance ContractsPromotion of Service and Parts and coordination with owner/operator and HSN ManagerCoordination with Sales on calls for large project meetings in the design stageAbility to travel for up to 48 weeks out of the yearHandle calls and emails from customers concerning all Halton productsAbility to write detailed reports on every job site visit Report feedback from the field to improve quality Ability to perform office duties when not traveling, such as parts ordering, scheduling etc. Assist the HSN manager with any specific projects or duties as assigned

    Education and/or Experience

    High school diploma or general education degree Related experience and/or trainingClear understanding of computers and ability to navigate various software packages including but not limited to Microsoft Office productsKnowledge of mechanical items such as motors, pulleys, VFD’s etc. Detailed knowledge of electrical theory and controls

    Language Skills

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.


    Mathematical Skills

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


    Other Skills:

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization existsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

    Summary:

    In this role, the associate will perform assembly of hoods by utilizing welding torch and manually utilizing grips and clamps.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Duties may include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary to support quality goals and objectives.

    Welder must be able to transfer parts from cart to the assembly table.Welder must be able to review project folder and take a parts inventory.Welder must be able to assemble parts manually utilizing grips and clamps.Welder must be able to operate welding torch and weld parts to assemble hoodsWelder must be able to complete various assembly processes and piping procedures.Welder must be able to move and transfer hoods to skids.Welder must maintain a clean and sanitary work area and follow established shop safety rules.

    Summary:

    The Applications Engineering Manager leads and oversees the Applications Department, ensuring efficient workflow, project coordination, and high-quality support for internal and external customers. This role supervises team members, assigns work, supports sales with technical expertise and custom designs, and drives continuous improvement through communication, reporting, and team development.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Duties may include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary to support quality goals and objectives.

    Coordination of schedule and assignment of responsibilities to Applications EngineersManage total workflow within department to ensure all internal and external customers get appropriate attention as is expected from established benchmarks.Determine specific team assignments for work activities as well as special projects.Effectively communicate with the Applications department as well as other departments, managers, co-workers and customers to coordinate needs, assist with issues and find resolutions.Provide updated information to the Applications Department concerning the company, products, design, procedures, and more.Accountability for on-going individual and team development plans.Creation and analysis of reports on department criteria, monthly production and others as requested.Assist sales with technical issues and designs for custom products.Support applications team and other internal parties by creating tools and calculators to aid the design processAbility to manage as well as carry out departmental job specific duties and responsibilities.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    Direct Supervision of the Applications Department.


    Qualifications:

Ability to use Revit is a plus.
