Basic requirements are: Show up for work on time each day (we have various shift schedules). Listen and follow directions. The general job requirements are to assist Platers in performing all assigned operations to process parts and products through electroplating and mechanical finishing operations.
Details
• Follow company work instructions and work order directions.
• Use basic testing and measuring instruments as directed to assure a quality product within tolerances.
• Load and unload baskets and racks. Dip to clean and wash parts and operate tumbler for cleaning and drying operations.
• Assist with cleaning of tanks, mixing solutions and set up of plating racks.
• Assist in completing the necessary paperwork, as instructed.
• Responsible for housekeeping around work area.
• Perform other tasks in support of the plating operation(s), including blasting, polishing, racking, oiling, masking, etc.
• Perform other functions in support of the plating operation such as cleaning of tanks, repairing racks, minor maintenance of equipment, or other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• High school education preferred but not required and ability to handle precision measuring equipment.
• Previous manufacturing experience required
• Strong work history and interest in joining a team long term
Physical Demands: Lifting up to 50 pounds in sometimes difficult work positions.
• Requires a lot of stooping and bending and good hand/eye coordination.
Work Environment: Exposure to chrome and nickel plating solutions, as well as, mechanical finishing operations.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Comply with all company policies and procedures, including practicing safe work habits, maintaining organization, safe food defense and good manufacturing practices.
-Set-up rails, print stations, folding, gluing, and/or die cut section on the equipment accurately in accordance with proper and safe setup techniques.
-Inspect all tooling before and after run to ensure that any necessary repairs are made before the next run.
-Ensure all bolts for cutting dies and all plates are in place and tightly secured.
-Minimize material sheet, ink and adhesive waste.
-Inspect anilox rolls for damage, before and after each run.
-Monitor and check quality in accordance with the shop copy, including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, dimensions, scoring, slotting, and print.
-Properly operate machine to run efficiently and produce quality products.
-Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.
-Train, assist and rotate with team members on your work center.
-Cross-train on other equipment or other areas of the plant.
-Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to: Production Data, Machine
-Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data.
-Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Complete daily and weekly equipment clean-ups. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
-Rotate with other team members throughout the day.
-Adheres to production schedule. Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals. -Reports any unusual scheduling issues to Supervisor.
-Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Selects and assembles proper materials and parts for building specific cores.Assembles cores by performing various manual tasks including:Inserting fins into fin table; inserting tubes into fins to create core blocks.Operating bake oven (setting bake time/temperature; ensuring cores are square).Attaching headers on cores (with mallet).Using fin comb and torch to straighten fins (or by hand); repairing fin gaps (torch only).Using high pressure wash to clean cores.Inspects cores for imperfections, etc.; prepares/attaches core tags.Maximum lifting requirement (pounds): 100 assisted lifting (infrequently), 50 (occasionally), 25 (frequently).Requirements:

Install heat sinks, sockets, and other accessories on boards using appropriate hand tools as needed Cleans circuit boards by hand using the Trident washer or the degreaserAfter QA approval, perform the next step on the Work Order. Clean boards and deliver them to QA for next inspection. Repeat as needed until finished.QUALIFICATIONS:
1+ Years Experience in assembly, soldering, or related strongly preferredHigh School Diploma or GEDMust be very detail oriented in general. Able to look through both microscope lenses simultaneously to see components properly.
