Luxury Hospitality | Western North Carolina - RELOCATION CANDIDATES WELCOME
A premier luxury hospitality property in the Western North Carolina mountains is seeking an experienced Director of Sales & Marketing to lead revenue growth, brand positioning, and guest engagement across multiple segments including leisure, corporate, and group business.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a high-touch, experience-driven environment and understands how to blend strategic vision with day-to-day execution.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with revenue goals and market positioningDrive group, corporate, and leisure business through proactive outreach, relationship building, and targeted campaignsLead and mentor a sales and events team, including hiring, training, and performance managementOversee brand standards, messaging, and guest-facing marketing across all channelsPlan and execute integrated marketing campaigns (digital, social, PR, and direct outreach)Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, event planners, and industry partnersCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, revenue management, and culinary teams to optimize guest experience and profitabilityAnalyze market trends, campaign performance, and sales data to inform strategyConduct site tours, client entertainment, and community engagement effortsEnsure timely responses to inquiries, proposals, and booking opportunities

Champion a culture rooted in genuine hospitality, teamwork, and high service standardsAct as a visible leader across the property, supporting guest experience and operational excellenceServe as Manager on Duty as needed and collaborate closely with all departments
Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in luxury hotel or resort sales & marketingStrong track record of driving revenue through group, corporate, and leisure segmentsExperience managing marketing campaigns, CRM initiatives, and brand strategyExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsHighly organized with strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
