HG Sartor Asphalt Paving is a family-owned company with over 40 years in the industry, built on quality work, strong leadership, and a positive crew environment. We are currently looking for an experienced Foreman to lead our crews and help us continue delivering top-tier results.
Position Overview
The Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily job site operations, managing crew members, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality asphalt work efficiently and on schedule.
This is a hands-on leadership roleyou will be expected to lead by example and work alongside your crew.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead asphalt crews on-site (paving, patching, milling, etc.)Coordinate daily job tasks and ensure projects stay on scheduleRead and interpret job specs, site plans, and measurementsCommunicate with project managers, clients, and team membersEnsure proper use of equipment and materialsMaintain a safe and compliant work environment (OSHA standards)Train and mentor crew membersTroubleshoot issues in the field and make real-time decisionsEnsure quality control on all work performed
Qualifications
35+ years experience in asphalt paving, patching, or related workPrior foreman or crew leadership experience preferredStrong knowledge of asphalt processes, materials, and equipmentAbility to read grades, plans, and layoutsExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environmentValid drivers license (CDL preferred but not required)Dependable, accountable, and solution-oriented
