    Human Resources Manager

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing payroll administration, recruitment, onboarding and related compliance activities. This role manages key HR functions and personnel including two payroll processors, a recruiter and an HR administrator while ensuring accurate and compliant execution of payroll and employee lifecycle processes.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Payroll Administration and Management

    Oversee and manage end-to-end payroll processing for a workforce of ~1,500 employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all applicable laws.Audit payroll results to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.Ensure compliance with federal, multi-state and locality tax regulations, wage laws, and company policies.Maintain payroll records and collaborate with Finance on reporting and reconciliations.

    Driver Compliance and Drug and Alcohol Policy Administration

    Manage HR compliance-related activities, including:NECS Driver ServicesDQ ManagementMVR MonitoringPre-employment Drug and Alcohol servicesBackground checksEmployment eligibility verificationEnsure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.Develop and maintain related internal policies, procedures, and controls.Support audits and ensure proper documentation is maintained.

    Recruitment & Talent Management

    Oversee the recruitment function, managing the recruiter to ensure efficient full-cycle hiring.Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs and hiring strategies.Monitor recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and quality of hire.Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

    Onboarding & Employee Experience

    Oversee onboarding programs to ensure a smooth and compliant new hire experience.Coordinate onboarding activities including documentation, system access, and orientation.Ensure completion of all required pre-employment and onboarding processes.Continuously improve onboarding processes to enhance employee engagement and retention.

    Team Leadership

    Manage and develop HR team members, including payroll, recruiting and HR administration staff.Provide guidance, training, and performance management to HR staff.Delegate and monitor daily Payroll and Talent operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

    HR Administration

    Oversee employee records management and HR systems accuracy.Ensure all employee lifecycle changes (hires, transfers, terminations) are processed accurately.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).5–8+ years of progressive HR experience, including payroll management.Experience managing payroll for large employee populations across multiple states and localities (1,000+ preferred).Prior experience supervising HR staff.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

    Strong knowledge of payroll systems, Dayforce experience a plus.Strong knowledge of compliance related to recruitment, hiring and payrollExperience working with reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Phocas or similar).High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

    INSIDE SALES

    Gulfeagle Supply is searching for a personable individual with a passion for people and a strength in sales. Gulfeagle provides their sales team with the tools to excel in the ability to serve the customer and effectively build their career. In the Inside Sales position, you will work with the Territory Manager and the Branch Manager to ensure we provide the highest quality building products to our customers and strive to always deliver excellent customer service and accurate processing of the various types of customer orders and sales.

    Requirements:

    • Valid state CDL Class A or B Driver’s License with clear MVR and DOT record
    • Must be 21 years old or older
    • Must have current and valid Medical Certification Card
    • Must have held CDL driving position the previous year with consecutive driving experience
    • Must have high degree of attention and considerable dexterity in the control of the vehicle
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions.
    • Ability to bend, reach, lift, and climb
    • Ability and willingness to climb on a rooftop and ensure proper stacking (location based)
    • Must have the ability to repeatedly lift up to 100 pounds of material for extended periods of time
    • Must be able to climb a 40’ ladder (location based)
    • Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain the cleanliness of vehicles
    • Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S

    • Previous material handling a plus
    • Previous forklift experience

    Delivery Material Handler

    Are you a hands-on person searching for a rewarding career opportunity?
    Gulfeagle Supply is looking for motivated individuals to join our team and utilize our core value of the development of people. Our Delivery Material Handlers work alongside our driver and are responsible for ensuring the proper delivery of building materials to the job site by using a forklift, crane, conveyor and/or by hand. Gulfeagle offers several training opportunities to help develop our employees into the next stage of their career.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Delivery

    Responsible for loading or assisting in loading and securing materials on trucks daily.Assists in verifying the quantities of materials for accuracy.Assists driver in locating the job site. Spot driver when backing up into a job site.Direct driver in placement of the conveyor.Unload or assists in unloading materials by using forklift crane, conveyor and/or by hand. (May require walking varying distances based on job site conditions.)

    Roof Top

    Responsible for climbing up to a 40-foot ladder to deliver materials on a pitch of up to an 8/12 roof.Ensure proper stacking and distribution in the placement of materials on the roof.

    Equipment

    Ensure truck is properly equipped for delivery including filling cooler, strapping materials, loading ladder, and other as needed.

    OSHA

    Responsible for OSHA compliance as it relates to oneself and t company

    Inventory

    Assist in taking inventory quarterly or as needed.

    Maintenance

    Maintain warehouse, yard, and trucks in a proper presentable manner. Minor repairs as needed.

    Safety

    Responsible for the safe handling of materials including wearing back brace, gloves, shoes, and other safety devices as appropriate. Responsible for aiding in the safe operation of vehicles as it relates to the customer’s property and Gulfeagle’s property.

    Customer Service

    Aiding Customers with materials, reporting problems with deliveries, service issues, and all other as needed

    ACCOUNTABILITY:

    Reports directly to the Branch Manager and indirectly to the District Manager on branch and personnel issues. Reports indirectly to the Safety team regarding fleet, safety, and staff.

    Education, Experience, and Licensing

    1. Read, write, and comprehend English or Spanish as required by the branch location.
    2. Knowledge of roofing material and/or construction and distribution.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions.Ability to bend, reach, lift, and climbMust lift up to 100 pounds of material continually for up to two hours at a time.Ability to work on multi-story buildings at various heights.Ability to work in hot, cold, rain, or shine.Requires a high degree of attention to ensure proper delivery while preventing damage to materials and equipment.Ability to maintain loyalty to Gulfeagle SupplyAbility to interact with the public in a courteous and professional manner.     TERRITORY MANAGER

    Job Summary


    The Territory Manager role assists in acquiring new businesses by developing strong customer relationships, maintaining an active call back list, and creating and following-up referrals from existing customers. This person is responsible for business development, achieving set sales budgets (as identified by the salespersons Sales ID), specifically the Warehouse and Direct Budget, GP% and the number of New Accounts opened.

    The Warehouse Helper is responsible for safely loading materials utilizing forklifts. Receive incoming materials from vendors, verify quantity for accuracy, description, amounts, and complete appropriate paperwork.     Cash Application Specialist

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Ensure accurate and timely application as well as providing support to credit managers and branches regarding payments from customers with credit accounts.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Accurate and timely cash applicationsCash application and adjustments are promptly and accurately applied to customer accounts.Ensure all documentation is supplied and balanced from branch prior to posting batch (i.e. cashbox journal, validated deposit slip, check and remittance copies).Monitor the cashbox general ledger of branches assigned to me on a daily basis. All unusual payments, such as over or under payments are noted on customer accounts.All returned checks are billed back to customer accounts within 24 hours.Complaints from various departments, branches and customers are minimized, and all errors are fixed as soon as found.Bank reconciliationsEnsure the proper bank accounts have been adjusted (credited/debited) from branch cashbox deposits.Prompt and accurate reconciliation of any issues on bank reconciliations from previous month.Support of credit managers and branch personnelAll assignments given by credit managers (i.e. payment research, application errors, processing adjustments) are completed on a daily basis.Office Administrators are supported and assisted in solving problems and fixing errors in cash application related areas (i.e. credit memos, refunds, etc.).All miscellaneous special requests from Office Administrators and other branch personnel are handled in an efficient and timely manner.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    Well organized person with good analytical skills. A strong background working with Excel Spreadsheets is required.

    Education and Experience:

    College diploma.A minimum of 2 years’ experience in industry.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    The ability to get work done quickly and properly.Must have good technology, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Our drivers are responsible for safely driving the most efficient route to the job site, while observing and obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations as well as company policies/procedures. They assist in loading and/or securing materials on trucks daily and help unload materials by using crane, conveyor, piggybacks and/or by hand. Gulfeagle drivers are the face of our Company on the jobsite as they lead, instruct, and supervise others.

    Requirements:

    • Valid state CDL Class A or B Driver’s License with clear MVR and DOT record
    • Must be 21 years old or older
    • Must have current and valid Medical Certification Card
    • Must have held CDL driving position the previous year with consecutive driving experience
    • Must have high degree of attention and considerable dexterity in the control of the vehicle
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions.
    • Ability to bend, reach, lift, and climb
    • Ability and willingness to climb on a rooftop and ensure proper stacking (location based)
    • Must have the ability to repeatedly lift up to 100 pounds of material for extended periods of time
    • Must be able to climb a 40’ ladder (location based)
    • Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain the cleanliness of vehicles
    • Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S

    **Must be able to pass a company required drug screening; all employees are subject to random drug testing per company policy**

    Preferred:
    • Previous material handling a plus
    • Previous forklift experience
    • Certified to operate a crane is a plus

    TERRITORY MANAGER

    Job Summary


    The Territory Manager role assists in acquiring new businesses by developing strong customer relationships, maintaining an active call back list, and creating and following-up referrals from existing customers. This person is responsible for business development, achieving set sales budgets (as identified by the salespersons Sales ID), specifically the Warehouse and Direct Budget, GP% and the number of New Accounts opened.
