    Description:

    GSM Industrial, a regional leader since 1983 in industrial fabrication, installation and mechanical contracting, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in various welding techniques, including FCAW (Flux Core), GMAW (MIG), and GTAW (TIG), and be proficient in welding carbon steel and stainless steel in all positions (1G-5G).

    Requirements:

    Key Skills & Qualifications:

    Advanced Welding Proficiency: Skilled in FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW welding processes, with extensive experience working on carbon steel and stainless steel.All Position Welding: Ability to weld in 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G positions with precision and consistency.Code-Quality Welding: Proven experience in full penetration welding, back purge welding, and producing welds that pass RT (Radiographic Testing), UT (Ultrasonic Testing), and hydrostatic tests.Polished Stainless Steel Welding: Experience working with polished stainless steel under stringent visual inspection requirements is a plus.Blueprint Reading & Fit-Up: Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, perform precise fit-up, and execute complex assemblies with minimal supervision.Rigging & Crane Operation: Hands-on experience with rigging and complex crane operations to handle large and intricate welding projects safely and efficiently.Safety & Quality Compliance: Commitment to following industry safety standards, quality control protocols, and best practices for welding and fabrication.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Prior experience in an industrial, structural, or pressure vessel welding environment.Certification(s) in relevant welding disciplines (AWS, ASME, etc.) is highly desirable.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
