    Grubbrr is seeking a bright, highly motivated Deployment Technician to join our growing team. This is an entry-level, hands-on technical role ideal for someone looking to jump-start their career in technology through real-world experience, structured training, and exposure to live customer environments.
    In this role, you’ll support the staging, deployment, installation, and troubleshooting of Grubbrr hardware and software solutions. You'll be working closely with Engineering, Implementation, and Support teams. You’ll gain practical experience across hardware, software, networking, and customer-facing technology deployments.What You’ll Do
    Deployment & Technical SupportStage, configure, and test hardware and software for upcoming customer deploymentsPerform on-site and remote hardware/software installation and technical support (internal and customer-facing)Assist with packing, shipping, and logistics for deployments when neededProvide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution for technical issuesInventory & Asset ManagementManage and maintain on-premise hardware inventoryTrack equipment movement, usage, and availabilityTroubleshooting & Continuous ImprovementAnalyze system issues to identify root causes and develop effective solutionsTest solutions and document specifications, modifications, or design changesIdentify trends in system or deployment issues and recommend improvements to reduce recurring problems and increase productivityCollaborate with additional technical resources when issues require specialized expertiseDocumentation & Knowledge SharingDevelop and maintain knowledge base documentationContribute to improving existing documentation to support internal teams and future deploymentsResearch & Development SupportAssist and contribute to R&D initiatives related to hardware, software, and deployment processesSupport testing of new configurations, tools, or deployment methodologiesTravel & Field WorkParticipate in occasional travel for on-site hardware installations or partner training sessionsWhat Success Looks LikeAccurate, timely staging and deployment of hardware and softwareReliable installation and support experiences for customers and internal teamsClear, well-maintained documentation and knowledge sharingGrowing technical confidence and independence over timeStrong collaboration and positive feedback from cross-functional teamsRequired QualificationsAssociate’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent education, certifications, or hands-on experienceMust have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, with the ability to travel to customer or partner locations as requiredMust reside in South Florida with the ability to commute easily to Boca Raton (in-office role)Strong troubleshooting skills across computer hardware, software, and connectivity issuesBasic understanding of networking conceptsHighly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize daily tasksStrong interpersonal skills and sound judgmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to lift and move heavy equipment as requiredIdeal Candidate ProfileCurious, energetic, and eager to learnComfortable working hands-on with technologyThrives in a team-oriented environmentTakes initiative and follows throughApproaches challenges with a “can-do” attitude and high integrityWhy Work at GrubbrrEntry-level role with hands-on training and real-world experienceExposure to cutting-edge fintech and restaurant technologyOpportunity to grow your technical skill set and career within a scaling companyCollaborative, high-energy team environmentModern Boca Raton office designed for teamwork and creativityWork on technology deployed nationwide and used every day by real customers
