Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with frame selection, lens options, and optical products.Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to accurately interpret prescriptions and ensure proper fittings.Conduct retail sales transactions, including processing payments and managing inventory.Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.Accurate prescription fulfillment and patient satisfaction.What We’re Looking For:
Education & Certification: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited opticianry program preferred.Experience: Familiarity with optical products.Technical Skills: Proficient in interpreting and understanding prescriptions. Ability to take accurate eye measurements (pupil distance, segment height, etc.). Experience with lens fitting and adjustment techniques.Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to educate and assist clients in selecting appropriate eyewear options.Attention to Detail: Meticulous in maintaining accurate records and managing inventory. Ensures precision in measurements and fittings.Knowledge of Insurance: Familiarity with VSP and EyeMed.Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to assist with various tasks and contribute to a positive team culture.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues related to eyewear fittings and repairs.Job Type: Full-time
