The RoleThis is an individual contributor, quota-carrying sales role. You will be responsible for finding, developing, and closing new merchant partnerships on the Groupon platform within an assigned region. You are not managing a team; you own your own book of business and results.
Our Merchant Development team focuses on building partnerships with new Groupon merchants. We spend our days learning what makes small businesses tick and crafting unique marketing campaigns to help them reach their target audiences. About the Role:
We're launching something new and exciting in NYC, and we need a driven, relationship-first sales professional to make it happen. As a Senior Account Executive, Restaurant Partnerships you'll own a territory spanning Manhattan's dining scene from the upscale and trending hotspots to the beloved neighborhood gems that make this city's food culture so special.
This is a field-based, consultative sales role centered on one thing: helping great restaurants find new customers. You'll partner with restaurant owners, GMs, and chefs to craft compelling offers on Groupon that drive new diners through their doors turning first-time visitors into loyal regulars.
