Group 1 Ford of Southwest Houston is growing and looking to add 2 driven Automotive Sales Consultants to our team!
We’re seeking candidates with a proven track record in direct, customer-facing sales. Success in this role requires consistency, coachability, and a commitment to mastering the sales process over time.
This is not a short-term opportunity; top earners in automotive sales build their success through experience, skill development, and long-term growth within the dealership.
Demonstrate vehicles by explaining features, benefits, and warranties; conduct test drives and compare competitive modelsProspect daily for new customers and maintain relationships with previous buyers Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores. Implement follow-up systems to encourage repeat and referral businessStay informed on product updates, inventory, and accessories to better serve customersSet and achieve personal sales goals aligned with dealership standards
Proven customer-facing sales experience required, (automotive experience is nice, but we hire for attitude, drive, and professionalism)Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindsetExperience handling phone leads and Internet inquiries is a strong plusStrong desire to succeed in a commission-driven, performance-based environmentPositive attitude with a high-energy personalityExcellent customer service skillsProfessional appearance and strong work ethicSelf-motivated and proactiveMust pass background check, MVR, and drug screeningHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
