Grose and Manz Builders is growing and looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day on-site project operations and helping ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily on-site construction activity from start to finishCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers, schedules, inspections, and material testingMonitor jobsite quality, safety, and security measuresBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, subcontractors, and suppliersAssist with permitting and brand approval processes when neededMaintain a full understanding of project documents including drawings, specifications, submittals, soils reports, subcontracts, and purchase ordersStay current on applicable construction codes and jobsite requirementsLead direct reports and ensure company processes are followedPrepare or assist with daily reports, two-week lookaheads, and project forecastingHold and manage job progress meetings and safety meetingsAssist in reviewing submittals as requestedTravel as needed based on project locationAlways represent the company and its clients professionally and in their best interestQualifications
3-5 years of experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or similar construction field leadership roleExperience managing commercial construction projects preferredStrong understanding of scheduling, subcontractor coordination, inspections, and site safetyAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentsStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of construction codes and permitting processesMust be willing to travel when requiredOSHA 30 certification required, or ability to obtain and maintain itCompensation and Benefits
