For more information, please visit our website: http://www.grifols.com Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: The Specialty Sales Representative (SSR) - Pulmonology will be responsible for managing the business within a specific geographical territory The SSR-Pulmonology will report directly to a Regional Sales Director This individual will be responsible for detailing the following customers: Pulmonologists, Primary Care Physicians, Allergists, Respiratory Therapists, Pharmacist and Nurses Exact amount of travel required is based on territory size and customer locations SSR-Pulmonology will sell and promote Grifols' alpha-one augmentation therapy to exceed financial objectives within their territory This person will execute on the National sales and marketing strategy and create a territory business tactical plan to maximize opportunity. This individual will work in partnership with home office personnel, the Brand team and the National and Corporate account teams for pull-through of product sales SSR-Pulmonology will be responsible for running the business by analyzing account and physician sales data and creating territory tactical plans and providing solutions to grow the business SSR-Pulmonology will use Microsoft applications as well as Grifols' customer management system and be required to enter call data. This individual must be organized and be able to manage multiple tasks/priorities Candidate will manage a defined territory travel/expense budget moving toward P/L SSR-Pulmonology will maintain Company and Industry Compliance Rules Skills/Qualifications/Education: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. SSR-Pulmonary must possess in-depth knowledge of the medical industry (Specialty Pharmacy, Home Health, Managed Care, Biologics/Biotech, Pharmaceutical and/or Hospital) Respiratory and Primary care experience preferred A valid driver's license Candidate must have at least Bachelor's Degree (Life Sciences or similar preferred) Candidate may have advanced degrees (MBA a plus) Requires at least 4 years of experience in pharma, biotech, healthcare or medical sales, marketing and/or sales management Display consistent above average performance Display an "achieves" level for the competencies required in the position Demonstrated Leadership Territory to include the following locations in Indiana: Indianapolis, Columbus, Greenwood, Shelbyville and Greenfield. We are leaders in plasma-derived medicines and transfusion medicine and develop, produce and market innovative medicines, solutions and services in more than 110 countries and regions. **Operations Supervisor** Primary responsibilities for role: + Maintain the ability to perform any/all tasks within the plasma center; fulfill the role of production employees and supervise donor flow. + Learn and maintain thorough familiarity and compliance with all state and federal regulations, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved Standard Operating Procedure Manual, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and internal company procedures. + Supervise donor selection, plasma collection and all manufacturing records to maintain the highest production standards in accordance with Federal and State regulations, with FDA approved Standard Operating Procedure Manual, OSHA, CLIA and cGMP. + Attend all required training sessions, staff meetings, etc. + Ensures that accurate and thorough documentation of necessary records is performed. + Under the guidance of the Center Manager and/or the Assistant Manager, assure facility is maintained in a neat and clean condition and all equipment is kept in good working order. + Submit timely and accurate reports as required by the Center Manager and/or the Assistant Manager. + Assist in the control of center donor funds as determined by the Center Manager and/or the Assistant Manager. + Assist in the training of new employees and retraining of current employees. + Maintains active communication with other service areas to ensure accurate documentation and quality. + Builds rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction with the center to support long-term donation. + Reports all unsafe situations or conditions to area lead, supervisor or manager. + May be trained to repair plasma center equipment. + Assist the Center Manager and/or Assistant Manager in any task necessary in pursuit of company objectives. Requirements + High school diploma or GED. Certified as a Phlebotomist, Donor Processor, Plasma Processor, and Designated Trainer. + Typically requires 4 years of related experience with performing phlebotomy, donor processing, and plasma processing duties with demonstrated proficiency to handle difficult situations. **Occupational Demands Form # 73:** Work is performed in a plasma center. Exposure to biological fluids with potential exposure to infectious organisms. Exposure to electrical office and laboratory equipment. Exposure to extreme cold below 32 degrees F while performing functions in plasma freezers. Personal protective equipment required such as protective eyewear, garments, gloves and cold-gear. Work is performed both standing for up to 4 to 6 hours per day and sitting 1 to 2 hours per day each. The position does require bending and twisting of neck up from 1 to 2 hours per day.
