    Position Details:

    Coverage: Clinic, 3 days/week (Wed Fri, 8 AM 5 PM)

    Duties: Follow-up visits, medication management, and additional treatment plans

    Physician onsite Fridays; ongoing training and support provided on latest pain management methods

    Facility Type: Clinic within hospital

    Average Census: 20 adult patients per day

    EMR: EPIC

    Vaccinations: Mandatory

    Clinical Focus & Procedures:

    Chronic and acute pain management

    Pain medicine interventions including injections and neuromodulation

    Support Staff:

    Nursing and administrative support available

    Requirements:

    BLS and ACLS (required)

    Board Certification (required)

    Active NC license & DEA (required not willing to license)

    Minimum 2 years of experience in Pain Management

    Credentialing timeframe: 60 days

    We are currently hiring for a Locum Orthopedic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join an orthopedic team in northern California. This is a full-time, 6-month commitment starting in December.

    Position Details:

    Full-time schedule: 8 AM 5 PM (with some variation depending on clinic, rounding, or OR schedule)

    Hospital rounding required prior to clinic on some days

    OR days may begin as early as 7 AM depending on surgical load

    Call: 5 days per month + 1 weekend every 5 6 weeks

    Clinic + Call (M F): Clinic hours billed hourly (7/8 AM 5 PM), after-hours billed as night call (no gratis hours)

    Lunch included in 8-hour shift

    Guaranteed: 8 hours per day (OT applies after 8 hours, must be pre-approved)

    Expected to be comfortable assisting with most orthopedic surgeries

    Requirements:

    Active California License and CA DEA

    2 years of current hospital clinical activity in orthopedic specialty

    Surgical specialties must include current case logs upon presentation

    Gaps greater than 3 months must be explained

    Privileging timeline:

    RFA turnaround hours (application due within 5 days)

    Typical privileging: 90 days

    Compensation & Benefits:
