Job Description: Install and maintain water, sewer, and storm drain systems on heavy civil projects.Install ductile iron, RCP, PVC, and HDPE piping systems.Set and align the pipe to the proper line and grade using lasers or hand levels.Work alongside equipment operators during trenching and backfill operations.Assist with trench preparation, bedding, and grading activities.Follow trench protection and jobsite safety protocols at all times.Maintain tools, materials, and overall jobsite cleanliness.Communicate daily progress with crew leaders and foremen. Job Description:
Ensure full compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and established safe work practices. Lead by example by promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring all team members adhere to safety requirements. Monitor safety practices, including proper PPE usage, and promptly report any unsafe conditions or actions to a supervisor or the Manager of Safety and Health. Consolidate and accurately document billing, while tracking project progress and budget matters, and communicating updates to clients as needed. Interpret and explain contracts, engineering plans, and technical information to internal teams and external partners. Collaborate closely with general superintendents, customers, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment and successful execution. Select qualified subcontractors and oversee the scheduling and coordination of their activities. Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other unforeseen challenges, ensuring projects remain on track. Coordinate project schedules and material flow to support efficient operations.
