    GrayColors infant development specialist provide in-home play based services to families with infants (birth to three years) who have reported a disability/ delay. Services include working with the child and parent using a play based atmosphere to achieve goals set for the child's developmental advancement. Most children are approved for services 1-2 hours per week and parents/ guardian must be present during sessions. Our duties include providing direct information and education to all those involved with the infant. Using items (i.e. toys, books, furniture, etc.) in the child’s natural environment, those around the child (i.e. parents, siblings, facility staff) will learn to assist the child in obtaining goals by using daily items as educational tools. Our knowledge is utilized to directly assist with enhancing the infants surroundings and immediate environment to promote optimum growth and development for the infant. (This position is not behavioral in nature and is not part of our ABA program)

    Job Title: Behavior Technician

    Job Description:
    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate behavioral technician to join our team. Behavior technicians assist behavior analysts in implementing behavior reduction and skill acquisition treatment plans. The candidate will help patients with daily activities, monitor their behavior, record and collect data on their progress, and communicate with clients. Additional responsibilities may involve clerical and administrative tasks.

    Responsibilities May Vary Depending on Location of Case (e.g., School case or home case):
    Assist with the implementation and monitoring of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA.Ability to read and identify the essential components of a written Behavior Intervention Plan and Individualized Education Program as it relates to behavior areas of need.Provide modeling and training to teachers and paraprofessionals on how to implement Behavior PlansDescribe behavior functions and appropriate reactive strategies for staff to use b.Modeling scenarios across environmentsAssist staff in implementing reactive procedures for problem behaviorEffectively communicate with team membersAssist BCBA with observations and data collection for assessmentsCollect and monitor on-going behavior data and samplesAssist teachers and staff on behavior data collection measuresAssist BCBA in analyzing and interpreting dataProvide feedback/explanation to case managers/teachers about interventionsEducate staff on general ABA skills/principles and evidence-based practicesTravel to multiple sites as necessaryAssist in the development of reinforcement identification proceduresAdditional related tasks as assigned by the BCBAFollow HIPAA practice, utilize safe and appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.Appropriately report all critical incidents and safety concerns
