    Position Summary:

    We are looking for a Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate. As a Granite City Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate, you will service customers by taking, entering and filling orders accurately and quickly. You will also gain product and sales knowledge while becoming more proficient with GCE's other departments, systems and procedures. You will generate sales for GCE by providing customer service excellence, value-added service and solutions for our new and existing customers. As Warehouse Associate, you will perform physical and clerical warehouse duties such as inventory, receiving, storing, picking and/or shipping of materials. This position pays $19.00 per hour.

    Essential Functions:

    Communicate with Customers on the phone and in person, fill orders and transfers accurately and quickly.Enter stock, special, direct and back orders as required by Customers.Maintain Customer Sales area in a clean and organized manner.Help to stock shelves and keep organized in such a way to facilitate fast and accurate order filling.Display and stock material in counter area and show room. Participate in promotions, Counter days and specials as they occur.Attend classes and meetings as required to gain product knowledge or to improve sales skills.Participate in processes and programs aimed at promoting a safe work environment.Responsible for general upkeep, cleanliness and appearance of our facilities.Actively support promotions.Strong customer service skills essential.Excellent communication skills.Good math and computer skills; experience with Eclipse software a plus.Able to adapt quickly to changes.Able to handle pressure and multiple tasks.Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.Ability to push/pull up to 70 lbs.Ability to walk/stand up to 8 hours daily.Proven track record for dependability.Adaptability / flexibility / willing to change & adjust with business conditions.

    Position Requirements:

    Actively communicate within and outside the branch with co-workers, external and internal customers.Works with a sense of urgency.Provide support to Manager in inventory control functions, stock maintenance, credits and defectives.Provide information to customers regarding products, pricing, services and non-stock merchandise.Provide support to the Branch Manager in the transferring, warehousing, receiving and shipping of stock and special material.Interact with vendors and their representatives.Offer Customers solutions that may lead to sales opportunities.Help generate sales opportunities.Perform other work as assigned.

    Education and/or Experience:

    High School diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous electrical distribution experience preferred.Business, construction or electrical industry exposure preferred.

    Granite City is seeking a professional CDL-A Delivery Driver to join our growing transportation team in Taunton, MA! The ideal candidate is a punctual, detail-oriented team player who can deliver our products on time and professionally, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. Candidate is responsible for cross checking orders while loading the delivery truck. Safely and efficiently drive to customer locations following assigned routes. Unload and deliver products with a Moffett to customers in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure accurate and complete delivery of products. Maintain the delivery vehicle in good condition, performing routine checks and reporting any issues. Keep all paperwork current and accurate, including logs, delivery receipts, and any other relevant documentation. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our products are delivered professionally and on time. The normal schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, approximate hours 4:30 AM to 1:00 PM (position times may vary slightly), allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Starting salary $27.00 - $32.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

    Essential Functions: Efficient and Safe Delivery: Deliver materials to customers in an efficient and safe manner. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it's in safe operating condition. Ensure the delivery truck maintains a clean and professional appearance while adhering to DOT regulations. Perform other duties as assigned by the company.

    Customer Service: Provide Best-in-Class delivery service, including effective communication with external customers. Always maintain a professional and courteous demeanor.

    Efficiency and Feedback: Communicate with supervisors to maintain efficiency in driving routes. Acquire and maintain current knowledge of company policies and procedures. Participate in training and attend meetings as requested.

    Safety and Compliance: Participate in processes and programs aimed at promoting a safe work environment. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the position. Maintain high order accuracy and ensure on-time delivery.

    Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. At least three (3) years of Commercial Driver License (CDL) experience At least three (3) years of Hoisting License / Hydraulic License experience Knowledge of and experience with forklift operations and warehouse equipment preferred. Equivalent education or experience may be substituted for any of the above.

    Qualifications: Must hold a valid CDL Class A driver's license. Hoisting License MA & RI. Pass the required Motor Vehicle Driving Record (MVR) and background screening. Punctuality and strong attention to detail. Ability to work well in a team. Effective communication and customer service skills. Minimum of three years of previous delivery or truck driving experience. Must be able to understand maps/GPS. Ability to walk/stand/sit. Ability to push/pull/lift to 70lbs repetitively. Must be able to bend, twist and stoop frequently. Must be able to climb in and out of truck routinely. Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

    Education and/or Experience:
