    Position Description

    The Builder Sales Associate is a high-impact, revenue-driving role responsible for both capturing new builder business and cultivating lasting partnerships. Success in this position comes from combining aggressive business development with exceptional relationship management to fuel long-term growth in the Builder Sales segment.

    Essential FunctionsOwn and aggressively grow an individual book of business within the builder, contractor, and project-based appliance sales segmentServe as both a hunter and a farmer relentlessly pursuing new builder opportunities while strategically expanding long-term partnerships with existing accountsHunt for new business through proactive prospecting, cold outreach, networking, jobsite visits, and consistent pipeline developmentDrive market expansion by identifying emerging builder projects, targeting high-potential accounts, and converting opportunities into loyal customersFarm and deepen relationships with established builder partners by delivering exceptional service, trusted expertise, and repeatable project successBecome a go-to resource for builders by managing accounts with a long-term, relationship-first mindset that fuels retention and recurring revenueAchieve and exceed assigned sales volume and profitability goals through a balanced approach of new account acquisition and account growthManage the full sales cycle from initial opportunity through contract pricing, quoting, ordering, and final project executionExecute manufacturer sales programs and pricing initiatives designed to win targeted builder business segmentsPartner directly with builders, project managers, and job site decision-makers to ensure product specifications, schedules, and project needs are met with precisionCoordinate closely with delivery and installation teams to ensure seamless execution, jobsite readiness, and an outstanding customer experienceUtilize builder-specific processes such as contract pricing forms, ordering matrices, project delivery guidelines, and punch lists to create consistency and trustAct as the primary relationship owner and problem-solver resolving concerns quickly, managing expectations, and protecting long-term partnershipsParticipate in product training, customer events, and builder-focused sales initiatives to strengthen expertise and visibility in the marketplaceMaintain strong awareness of competitive offerings, industry trends, and local builder market dynamicsAdditional tasks and projects as neededRequirementsMust have proven business-to-business sales experience with success independently managing and growing accountsDemonstrated ability to win new business while also retaining and expanding established customer relationshipsStrong hunter mentality: driven, competitive, and comfortable building a pipeline from the ground upStrong farmer mentality: relationship-focused, service-minded, and committed to long-term customer successAppliance industry or builder/construction sales experience preferred, but not requiredAbility to manage conflict, change, and multiple personality types with professionalism and confidenceSkilled negotiator with clients, vendors, and internal teams to reach mutually beneficial outcomesHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple active projects, deadlines, and customer priorities simultaneously4-year college degree preferredBenefitsCompetitive compensation and commission structureComprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) matchOpportunities for professional development and growthSupportive and collaborative work environment within a family-owned businessSpecified Benefits401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceDisability insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offPaid trainingVision insurance

    Warehouse Associate

    Position Summary: As a Warehouse Associate at Grand Appliance and TV, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and the timely delivery of appliances to our customers. This position is open to both experienced warehouse professionals and those looking to begin their career in warehousing. We offer comprehensive training and a supportive work environment to help you succeed in this role.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Safely and efficiently receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of appliances.Prepare appliances for delivery by assembling and packaging them securely.Accurately label, organize, and stock appliances in the warehouse.Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, ensuring products are handled with care.Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure appliances are prepared for scheduled deliveries.Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed (training provided if necessary).Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.Support other warehouse-related tasks and initiatives as required.

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required.Ability to lift and move heavy appliances with or without accommodation.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Willingness to learn and follow warehouse safety guidelines.Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
