The Sewer Vacuum Truck Operator is responsible for the cleaning and removal of debris from manholes, sewer lines, storm drains, and related infrastructure using a Combination (Jetter/Vacuum) Truck. This role requires a CDL-licensed operator with experience in operating specialized equipment, supervising crew activities, and coordinating with management and contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.
Requirements:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely operate and maintain a Combination (Jetter/Vacuum) Truck and associated equipmentMobilize to job sites and perform cleaning of sewer systems, manholes, storm drains, and related structuresOpen, inspect, and assess sewer infrastructure in accordance with NASSCO PACP/MACP/LACP standardsPerform easement clearing and remove vegetation as neededConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; report defects and maintenance needsMaintain equipment through routine cleaning, lubrication, adjustments, and minor repairsSupervise and direct crew members, ensuring work is completed safely and efficientlyMonitor work quality, accuracy, and completeness in compliance with project requirementsCoordinate with management, inspectors, and contractors to meet service expectationsIdentify field issues and promptly report concerns to managementEnsure compliance with company safety policies and data security standardsParticipate in project meetings as requiredPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications & Skills:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED requiredExperience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a Combination (Jetter/Vacuum) Truck preferred (training available for qualified candidates)Experience with sewer cleaning, manhole inspection, tank cleaning, and hydro-blastingFamiliarity with wet/dry vacuum operationsSkills & Abilities:
