The Sales Development Managers role is key to accelerating GOVXs growth trajectory and their work directly ties back to all of GOVXs verticals of service. In this role, the individual will support, coach, and enable our Sales Development Representatives to successfully create new opportunities with meaningful estimated value.
The Sales Development Manager is responsible for a portion of the GOVX sales cycle from top of funnel volume to new opportunity qualification. The Sales Development Manager will ensure that new opportunities sourced from the SDRs will be of a qualifying scale and set up for success in the next phases of negotiation. Additionally, The Sales Development manager will be a coach/mentor to help our SDRs (Sales Development Representatives) grow their contribution to GOVX and enable their own personal career growth. How can GovX differentiate our offering from the market? Upsell current vendors across product lines: Marketing Services, GOVX Marketplace (Affiliate), Marketing Services and GOVX Shop (wholesale – dropship and wholesale - inventory). Manage vendor relationships to achieve all financial goals (orders, revenue and margin). Drive member value by leverage partner relationships (Shop, Marketplace, GOVXID) to offer the best pricing to our deserving audience. Review and analyze vendor and product performance to make data driven decisions to optimize the business, pricing and the catalog offering. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Review: Orders flagged by automated fraud prevention systems; investigate account details, verify information via phone/email, and confirm or cancel orders. Assist: Verify customer data and account history to prevent refund delays and mitigate fraud. Investigate: Potential violations of Terms of Use and educate customers to ensure compliance. Identify: Trends and communicate findings across departments to improve fraud prevention processes. Support: Investigate, analyze, and resolve chargeback cases; gather documentation to dispute unsupported claims.Requirements
Education/Experience: Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) and 1+ years in e-commerce fraud or risk management.
Technical Proficiency:
