    About The Position The Riverside County Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder's (ACR) Office seeks to fill multiple Assessor- County Clerk- Recorder Technician Trainee/I/II positions in the Desert. Current position is located in Palm Desert. The selected candidates will process marriage licenses, perform civil ceremonies, and handle fictitious business name filings, including abandonments and withdrawals. Incumbents will register notaries, legal document assistants (LDAs), unlawful detainer assistants (UDAs), process servers, and professional photocopiers. Additionally, they will issue vital records such as birth, marriage, and death certificates; provide certified copies of recorded documents; and review and record legal documents related to real property. ACR Technicians will also answer phone calls, respond to basic assessor-related inquiries, and provide information to the public. Other related duties may be assigned as needed. The most competitive candidate will possess strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Candidates should also have experience working with Eagle Recorder, Aumentum, and Tyler software programs, demonstrating the ability to efficiently manage records, data, and administrative processes in a professional environment.
