Trim/Finish Carpenter
We have an immediate opening for a finish carpenter to become part of our production team. You will get the opportunity ty to learn and develop new skills including working with different types of machinery (We currently have 2 CNC routers, a CNC laser and a CNC Plasma). We manufacture custom millwork, architectural millwork custom woodwork and metalwork projects as well as one off and production craft items.
Job Duties:
Construction of millwork components i.e., cabinets, cash wraps and shelving units.Custom retail displays and storefronts.Laminations of veneers and plastic laminates.Installation of low voltage lighting and electrical.Any other tasks assigned by management.Show up to work on time and ready to work.Follow all safety guidelines and instructions.Perform quality carpentry on a consistent basis.At times, you will be asked to work independently.Attention to detail, quality and an ability to stay on task until finished.Assist in ordering the proper amount of materials.Receive material deliveries, to ensure proper quantities and quality.Return undamaged materials that cannot be used at the first available time.Store materials in a way that reduces possibility of damage after they are delivered to the site.You should have the prerequisite tools required hand tools expected of a remodeling carpenter.Ensure that all company tools and equipment must be maintained and returned to storage when not in use.Supervise work done by other employees to ensure meeting company standards and specifications.Requirements:
5+ years’ experience with trim/ finish carpentry.Self-starter and willing to learn.Able to work well in a team environment.Ability to meet production deadlines.Ability to read drawings.Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.Ability to operate power tools such as table saws, chop saws, finish guns, and other carpentry related tools.Ability to lift to fifty pounds.Must have strong references.The ability to mentor and teach other team members.Must have reliable transportation.Preferred Experience:

This is not basic trim carpentry—we are looking for someone with strong hands-on experience building high-quality cabinetry, custom furniture, architectural millwork, retail fixtures, displays, and one-off custom projects.
