    We are seeking a sales-driven Leasing Consultant to manage the sales process from start to finish at Lakehaven Luxury Apartments, a 492-unit garden-style apartment community located in Carol Stream, Illinois.  Essential functions include: 

    Conducts leasing activities, including but not limited to touring prospective residents, processing applications, and preparing leases while following all regulatory guidelines.Enters new lease information into leasing software and ensures accuracy.Prepares, maintains, and manages new and existing lease files.Monitors the CRM system and consistently follows-up on prospective leads and existing resident inquiries.Provides excellent customer service to residents, prospects, vendors, visitors, and other customers. Monitors and evaluates competitors’ rental rates, prepares weekly market surveys, and recommends rental rate changes.Assists in move-in / move-out process.Receives resident service requests and administers building work order system.Conducts regular walk-throughs of facility and reports concerns to building maintenance.Maintains schedules for amenity spaces.Coordinates resident events and sends out communication.

    Qualified candidates will be self-starters with at least 2 years of sales-related experience. Previous apartment leasing experience with proven, exceptional closing skills preferred. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and administrative acumen. Candidates must have or be willing to obtain current Illinois leasing agent license. Regular weekend hours will be required. Bilingual in Spanish is required.

    The hourly rate for this position ranges between $17.00-18.74 and is based on level of experience. This position is also eligible for commissions.

    The annual salary for this position is $100,000-110,000; the position is also eligible for an annual year-end discretionary bonus.

    Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and minimum five years' related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Residential leasing experience with proven, exceptional closing skills required. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and financial acumen. Candidates must have or obtain current Illinois leasing agent license. 

    The salary for this position ranges from $100,000-110,000, based on experience. This position is also eligible for a quarterly bonus and split of renewal commissions.
