Job Description
The Field Technician will provide a variety of exterior cleaning and maintenance services to Goldstone clients while always maintaining the highest standards in safety and quality of workmanship.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Effectively and safely operate a variety of equipment and tools for power washing, striping, and painting jobs
· Check in with Supervisor immediately upon arrival at Shop and prior to clocking out.
· Conduct regular detailed inspections of equipment and tools
· Assist in repairs and maintenance of equipment as directed by Supervisor
· Gather all tools and equipment for jobs prior to departing for jobsites
· Conduct and/or participate in daily Job Safety Analysis meetings prior to commencing jobs
· Report all damaged or faulty equipment to site supervisor immediately upon recognition.
· Seek to understand and follow all HSE policies and procedures
· Cooperate with all other team members regardless of title or time with the company
· Help maintain equipment integrity by following manufacturer requirements, company policies, and sustaining from misuse.
· Ensure all equipment is returned to its appropriate location after use
· Safely operate company vehicles while obeying all traffic laws
· Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy when interacting with clients on job sites
· Cooperate with Supervisor to help manage changes in job requirements & conditions
· Always approach work with safety being the primary focus
· Immediately report any all unsafe behaviors and conditions to Supervisor.
· Immediately report all injuries to Supervisor no matter how minor and accept and/or render medical care if needed.
· Inspect quality of work during job and after completion
Job Requirements
· Effective communication skills using the “communication loop, active listening, and utilization of various methods and mediums such as verbal, non-verbal, written, hand signals and open-ended questions.
· Willing to follow instructions, receive training and work to the required standards when unsupervised
· Ability to understand instructions and follow as directed
· Willing and able to appropriately and effectively intervene when safety issues are observed
· Actively participate in pre-job and post-job reviews
· Work with Management to task specific and professional development goals
· Ability to work well with various types of people
· Ability to effectively and appropriately manage conflict with others
· Demonstrate knowledge and ability to use all equipment to the right standards
· Remain compliant with all company safety policies
· Basic reading and writing skills
· Able to remained focus on repetitive tasks
· Valid Drivers License
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $10.00 to $15.00 /hour
