    Job Description:

    GliaCell is seeking a Principal Software Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.

    Description: 

    This team designs, develops, and maintains a suite of web-based analysis tools.The team builds and deploys multiple applications across diverse tech stacks, including containerized React UIs, Java and Go microservices, custom REST security services, and data stores such as MongoDB and an OpenSearch cluster.The program provides users with real-time alerting, historical querying with smart query builders, and document storage and retrieval.

    Responsibilities:

    Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirementsDesign and code new software or modify existing software to add new featuresDebug existing software and correct defectsWork with UI developers to determine necessary data to be displayed

    Key Requirements:

    To be considered for this position you must have the following:

    Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. U.S. Citizenship.20+ years Software Engineering experience and a BS degree in Computer Science or related.Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.Works well independently as well as on a team. Strong communication skills. 

    Key Skills:

    Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland (Partial Telework of 16 hours per week is expected)

    Salary Range: The salary range for this full-time position is $200,000 to $280,000. Our salary ranges are determined by position, level, skills, professional experience, relevant education and certifications. Within the range, your salary is determined by your individual benefits package selection.     GliaCell is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer.     The Work: 

    Provide a reliable, highly available platform that orchestrates the microservices of a modernized operational system utilizing cutting edge technologies. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for:

    Duties: 

    Developing Infrastructure As Code and scripting to automate tasks, provision managed services, and build tools. Popular programming languages for DevOps engineers include Python, Ansible, and Terraform.Experience patching, hardening, and maintaining compliance of RHELInstall, configure, and provide performance tuning utilizing: Kubernetes, Docker Compose, Nifi, and cloud native logging and metrics collection tools.Managing CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deploying code utilizing GitLab runners and Argo CD.Managing commercial cloud computing platforms (AWS).Communication and collaboration: DevOps is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.The position allows little to no work from home and will require a significant portion or all work to be performed in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).

    Job Description:

    GliaCell is seeking a Software Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.

    Responsibilities:

    Provide full stack developmental support for the AUTUMNATTIC tool that is built using the following technologies: Java, Angular, ElasticsearchDevelop front end and back-end capabilities based on provided requirementsPerform code reviews for capabilities developed by other team membersAssist with diagnosing problems users are facing with AUTUMNATTIC

    Key Requirements:

    To be considered for this position you must have the following:

    Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. (This position requires in-scope poly, within 7 years).U.S. Citizenship.7+ years Software Engineering experience and a BS degree in Computer Science or related.Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.Works well independently as well as on a team. Strong communication skills. 

    Key Skills:

    Development experience with Java and Angular frameworkBuild experience with GitLab and DockerBuild experience with Kubernetes or Marathon

    Desired Skills:

    Experience with language analyzers in ElasticsearchExperience with computer assisted translation tools such as LILT

    Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland (Partial Telework of 16 hours per week is expected)
    Note: Telework granted for this position does not become available until after the individual has been in the position for a period of time, has acclimated to tasking/duties, and has meaningful work that can be done remotely.  Telework can also be removed at any time.

    Salary Range: The salary range for this full-time position is $115,000 to $190,000. Our salary ranges are determined by position, level, skills, professional experience, relevant education and certifications. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for this position across our projects. Within the range, your salary is determined by your individual benefits package selection. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred position during the hiring process. SIGN-ON BONUS ELIGIBLE.
