Our Project Managers have the opportunity to bring the customers’ vision to reality. They are highly involved in projects from start to finish. They will simultaneously manage multiple projects from order acceptance through final punch list and the completion of the project. They work closely with the Sales Associate, Project Coordinator and Designer, and often times, the customer or customers’ general contractor, to facilitate all aspects of the installation. They will represent GL Seaman at the job site by providing extraordinary customer experience from start to finish and ensuring the installation is carried out flawlessly.
Position Highlights:
Identify and manage the scope of the projectsConduct site surveys and perform field verificationsReview drawings and installation packagePrepare and execute schedules, coordinate product lead times and deliveriesCoordinate delivery and installation with OperationsAttend construction or jobsite meetingsTroubleshoot issues and solve problemsExecute installation of furniture solutions to the specifications and quality standardsCoordinate inventory management servicesCreate installation quotes
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors degree in project management or construction preferredHistory of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degreeThree years project management background especially in contract furniture, preferred; knowledge of Knoll and Herman Miller products are beneficialSelf-motivator who takes initiative and plans proactivelyAble to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environment with a sense of urgencyMust be extremely organized, with good time management skills and the ability to work independentlyExceptional Customer Service skills with a passion to provide solutions to client needsMust be results oriented with focus on accomplishments and long and short-term goalsProficient with MS Office; experience with Core and Corrigo, a plus
A hybrid work schedule does not fit this position as this is a fluid role. Our project managers are in/out of the office all day, almost every day.
