Inside Sales Representative
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) supports customers and the sales organization by providing high-quality service, accurate order processing, and timely sales support. This role handles inbound and outbound communication, prepares quotes, assists with product information, and ensures a positive customer experience while supporting revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales Support
Respond to inbound calls, emails, and online inquiriesProvide customers with product, pricing, and availability informationProcess orders, returns, replacements, and account updatesTroubleshoot basic order or service issues and follow standard workflowsMaintain accurate documentation in CRM and internal systems
Inside Sales & Revenue Support
Prepare quotes within established pricing guidelinesConduct routine outbound follow-ups on quotes and open ordersIdentify upsell and cross-sell opportunitiesSupport field sales teams with documentation, samples, and schedulingMaintain strong product knowledge to guide customers effectively
Workload Expectations
Manage high-volume daily customer communicationComplete 515 quotes per day depending on complexityProcess 2040 orders or service tickets per dayMaintain consistent follow-up on assigned quotes and customer needsPerform other related duties as assigned

Qualification/Experience13 years of inside sales, customer service, or order management experienceStrong communication, organization, and multitasking skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentComputer & Technical SkillsKnowable working with ERP systems for order processing, inventory tracking, and customer account management a plus. Proficiency in CRM/ERP systemsBasic knowledge: Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook skills, including OMS, and MPS (Data analysis for sales reporting).
