Girl Scouts of Western Ohio is seeking a dedicated Director, Information Systems & Data Operations to join our team! The Director, Information Systems & Data Operations is an essential part of our data team and will oversee and be responsible for managing the technology infrastructure, data management operations, assessment & evaluation and analytics for the organization. This role manages the IT service provider and provides ongoing coordination and supervision of the service to ensure the organization’s IT needs are met with efficiency and a focus on the security of council information. This role will also lead our data security efforts, ensuring the council is positioned to meet business needs through our data, technology and business systems platforms and leading the council in future info systems initiatives such as AI solutions or more robust business analytics tools. We are seeking an Information Systems professional who has demonstrated experience leading a team, understands software and data ecosystems and has managed departments that ensure data accuracy, integrity and accessibility across various departments, driving both operational efficiency and supporting strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and team management skills with the ability to transform data into a coherent and impactful narrative to drive strategic decision-making. The ability to bridge the gap between technical staff, MSP and non-technical stakeholders, demonstrate excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities and manage multiple priorities are some of the ways this role will demonstrate success in the role.
Our Director, Information Systems & Data Operations is a member of the senior leadership team and will oversee a small internal data team that provides day-to-day data management, transaction processing, council evaluation and reporting. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work with a team, led by a visionary leader, to reimagine the ways in which we use data analytics and our information ecosystem to create business insights that will not only support our operations and poise our council to meet the needs of today’s girl and family.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or a related field required.At least 5 years of experience in IT, data management or a related field with at least 2 years of experience in a people leadership/supervisory role providing direct supervision to staff required.Certification in Data Management or Information Systems is highly preferred (CISSP- Certified Information Systems Security Professional, CDMP - Certified Data Management Professional or equivalent)Demonstrated experience in managing full data and information ecosystems including technology implementations, preferably in a nonprofit or similarly resource-limited environment. Experience and strong proficiency in evaluation and data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Qualtrics or similar).Experience working with an MSP to manage outsourced IT functions. Knowledge of software credentialing and management.Familiarity with data security and privacy regulations or other compliance standards.Ability to complete assignments independently, professionally, and in a timely manner.Ability to work in a team environment with commitment to contributing to the organizational goals.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This position is eligible for teleworking.
TRAVEL
Travel is primarily within the Council’s geographical footprint (32 counties of western Ohio and southeastern Indiana) during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000-$90,000 annually with a generous benefits package. This role offers a hybrid work option to support work-life balance (minimum 3 days at work site, up to 2 days remote after 90-day training period).

Business Operations Manager – Dayton or Cincinnati, OH
Girl Scouts of Western Ohio is seeking a passionate and dynamic Business Operations Manager to join the GSWO Leadership Team. The Business Operations Manager will lead a newly created council-wide department that combines the existing customer care, retail and business support teams within the three council regions. The manager will provide direct team leadership for all department staff and is responsible for leading all department operations to ensure efficient and high-quality execution of administrative, customer service, and retail functions across the organization. This role will primarily focus on aligning operational activities with strategic goals, optimizing workflows, and fostering a collaborative, customer-focused environment that is positioned to best meet the needs of our external and internal customers. BUSINESS OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
GSWO is seeking a Business Operations Specialist to join our newly created Business Operations team! This department combines our existing Customer Care, Retail and Business Support teams to strengthen cross-training, increase internal coverage and provide a seamless, exceptional experience for our members, volunteers, families and community. Business Operations Specialists are trained to support all three functions – whether it’s supporting operations at one of our Girl Scout centers, serving as first point of contact for a customer inquiry, selling branded merch in our boutique retail shops or helping bring our mission to life for our community through our brand center operations, this role is at the heart of it all. This is a customer-facing position that directly supports the mission and ensures every touchpoint with our council feels welcoming, helpful, connected and on brand.
This is a great role for someone with call center, general office, customer service or retail experience and the ideal candidate will have prior experience in interacting with customers -both in-person and online or phone, be comfortable with heavy call volume (utilizing a headset) and being a first point of contact and first impression for the organization. Travel may be expected within our Council footprint to provide coverage at one of the Girl Scout Centers or as part of training and onboarding. Travel will be daytime travel, no expectations for overnight.

As staff, you’ll spend your summer living on-site at Camp Butterworth (located in Maineville, OH). You’ll help girls choose their own adventures while participating in hiking, swimming, outdoor living skills, building teamwork, archery, nature activities, crafts, or working on badge activities.
Open Positions at Day Camp (Camp Butterworth):
Program Director (1) - Supervises and supports program specialists and schedules programming for units across camp. Ensures programming follows industry standards, ACA accreditation guidelines and Safety Activity Checkpoints. Applicants must be able to live on-site, be 21 years of age or older, and have a valid Driver’s License.
Waterfront Manager (1) - Supervises lifeguards and provides management of the physical operation of the waterfront’s facilities and equipment. Conducts planning, supervision, and delivery of activities at the waterfront that are safe, fun, and appropriate to the campers’ age and abilities. Applicants must be able to live on-site, be 21 years of age or older, and have a valid Driver’s License.
Older Girl Leadership Director (1) - Manages the Program Assistant and Counselor-in-Training programs, including planning, organizing and directing these programs. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid Driver's License.
Program Specialists (3) - (live on-site or ff-site) - Plan, teach and carry out specialized activities for campers based on the weekly theme, camper age and ability in a variety of program areas including nature, arts and crafts, sports, and STEM. Facilitating high-risk program areas such as archery, hatchet throwing and climbing wall. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Specialized training provided.
Lifeguards (7) – (live on-site or off-site) - Plan, teach and carry out activities and guiding campers in their personal growth plus providing supervision and ensuring a safe environment at the pool. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Lifeguard training is provided.
Unit Counselors (10) – (live on-site or off-site)* - Provides quality camp experience through the planning, teaching, coordinating, and carrying out of activities and guiding campers in their personal growth. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
POSITION WORK HOURS/SCHEDULE
Our Day camp staff positions are full time throughout camp season. Regular schedule is Monday - Friday daytime hours with the expectation of a weekly overnight on Thursdays.

We are seeking engaging individuals that are comfortable working in mostly urban, Title I communities to support all girls in the opportunity to participate in the Girl Scout Program through delivering the Girl Scout Leadership Experience! This is an ideal role for students, parents, or anyone looking to supplement their income who has a flexible schedule while gaining valuable experience. This position will serve our Central region with service areas supporting the greater Dayton and Springfield area.
The Community Outreach Specialist leads local community and school-based education sessions to deliver the Girl Scout Leadership Experience with girls! Activities include leading and assisting volunteers and staff with episodic fun learning opportunities that will build empowered future women leaders! This role requires the ability to speak in public group settings at local schools and community centers, comfortably interact with both girls and caregivers and meet target outreach goals to ensure we have a diverse group of girls benefiting from our programs. Light technical skills are needed in order to communicate via email, edit documents and electronically complete and track membership registrations.
This is a part-time position worked between August – June and role offers up to 28 hours per week. Specialists may work a flexible schedule of weekday hours, Monday-Friday, between 9:00am-6:00pm; occasional weekend availability is a plus! The travel expectation is up to 50 miles using your personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
