    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Digital Marketing and Content Manager leads the creation, execution, and optimization of the organization's digital presence, serving as both a strategic marketer and a master visual storyteller. This role combines high-level digital marketing expertise with advanced videography and content production skills to strengthen the Girl Scout brand, grow audiences, drive engagement, and communicate compelling stories that showcase the impact of Girl Scouts across North Florida.

    The ideal candidate is equally comfortable and experienced developing social media strategy, driving engagement, analyzing digital performance metrics, producing recruitment campaigns, and creating emotionally engaging video content from concept through final edit.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Digital Marketing Strategy and Brand Management

    Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies that support recruitment, retention, fundraising, program participation, and brand awareness goals.Lead the organization's social media strategy across all digital platforms, ensuring consistent messaging, audience engagement, and brand alignment.Lead annual digital campaign planning, content strategy, and audience engagement initiatives that advance organizational goals and strengthen brand visibility.Serve as a steward of the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council brand by ensuring visual, verbal, and digital brand consistency across all platforms and campaigns.Identify emerging trends, platforms, and opportunities to increase visibility and audience growth.Collaborate across departments to support organizational priorities through integrated digital campaigns.

    Video Production and Visual Storytelling

    Serve as the organization's lead videographer and visual storyteller.Plan, shoot, edit, and produce professional video content for recruitment campaigns, fundraising initiatives, events, community partnerships, volunteer engagement, and organizational storytelling.Conduct interviews and capture compelling footage that highlights authentic Girl Scout experiences.Create polished, story-driven content utilizing advanced editing techniques, including color correction, audio mixing, music integration, motion graphics, and narrative sequencing. Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro is required.Produce content for multiple channels, including websites, presentations, email marketing, social media, events, and donor communications.

    Social Media and Content Creation

    Manage day-to-day operations of all social media channels, including content creation, publishing, audience engagement, and community management.Create compelling multimedia content, including videos, photography, graphics, and written storytelling. Stay on top of trending content relevant to Girl Scouts.Develop platform-specific content strategies that increase engagement, reach, and follower growth.Oversee content performance and adjust strategies based on analytics and audience insights.

    Analytics and Performance

    Track and analyze website, social media, video, and email performance metrics.Translate data into actionable recommendations and campaign improvements.Prepare and produce reports highlighting trends, opportunities, and return on investment.

    Girl Media Team Management

    Lead and mentor members of the Girl Media Team, guiding digital storytelling, content creation, interviewing, photography, and video production skills.Foster creativity while empowering girls to share their own voices through digital media.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, Film Production, Public Relations, or related field, or equivalent experience.5-7 years of experience in communications, video storytelling, content strategy, marketing, or related field.Demonstrated experience leading digital marketing and social media initiatives.Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro required.Strong portfolio showcasing both strategic digital marketing work and high-quality video storytelling.Experience with professional camera equipment, lighting, audio recording, and post-production workflows.Strong understanding of social media strategy, content development, audience engagement, and analytics.Excellent storytelling, writing, project management, and communication skills.Experience with digital advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager) and performance tracking.Knowledge of SEO/SEM, CRM, and email marketing systemsAbility to lead projects from concept to completion, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across teams.Photography and visual storytelling experience.Media-trained or comfortable representing the organization in interviews and video content.Passion for empower girls and advancing the Girl Scout mission.

    Title: Part-Time Membership Coordinator

    Reports to: Director of Membership

    Classification/FLSA Status: Regular, Part Time, Non-Exempt

    Location: Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid)

    Schedule: Up to 25 hours per week

    Position Summary

    The Part-Time Membership Coordinator supports the council’s recruitment, conversion, troop start up, and membership renewal goals by engaging directly with families, schools, and community partners. This role is responsible for the end-to-end member placement process, ensuring prospective girls and adults are successfully converted and connected to troops or other Girl Scout experiences.

    The Part-Time Membership Coordinator also acts as a front-line driver of new member acquisition, through successful execution of recruitment events, follows up with prospective members, completes back-office placement and registration work, and delivers high-quality customer service throughout the joining experience. Working in close partnership with the broader membership team, this role ensures increased girl and adult participation within an assigned area, directly contributing to the achievement of membership growth targets.

    Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManages and oversees the member pipeline for an assigned geographic area and guides potential members through the conversion process through phone, email, and virtual meeting communication methods.Generates, manages, and converts leads through community events, school presentations, tabling opportunities, digital referrals, and direct outreach to families and prospective volunteers.Supports the execution of recruitment events and membership growth strategies that are engaging, welcoming, reflective of Girl Scout programming, informative, and result in successful girl and adult membership increases in designated areas.Support troop formation meetings and events by coordinating logistics, communicating with interested caregivers and volunteers, and assisting with onsite membership registration.Ensures smooth workflow and follow up in the coordination and placement of registered girls into appropriate troops, coordinates the assignment of troop numbers and manages troop transfers when appropriate.Provide excellent customer service to community partners, families and volunteers during the membership registration process and promote the Girl Scout brand and mission consistently in all community interactions.Utilizes the volunteer systems database to track and follow through with leads and prospects to achieve the desired conversion rate and meet the assigned girl and adult membership goals. Additionally, tracks recruitment activity, event outcomes, and membership data accurately in CRM/database systems.Assists and provides support for potential, new, and existing members on how to access and navigate Girl Scout technology platforms.Develops and applies a high level of understanding and awareness of GSGC business operations, goals, priorities, and other relevant information to effectively navigate potential, new, and existing member inquiries and requests.

    2+ year of previous experience in customer service, sales, program delivery, community engagement. or a related field.Comfort with public speaking and event facilitation, including confidently representing Girl Scouts in group settings, delivering clear and engaging presentations to families and community partners, and guiding conversations that lead to membership conversion.Highly proficient in Salesforce CRM, Looker, and Microsoft Suite platforms, including Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. Familiarity with Asana or similar project management software a plus.Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to membership data health, documentation, and process consistency; strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills in written, verbal, and virtual delivery; experience developing and implementing action plans to meet/exceed deliverables; and experience working collaboratively to reach collective goals.Ability to work a flexible schedule including frequent evenings and weekends.Travel throughout the council jurisdiction up to 50% of the time.Capability to provide own transportation and maintain valid operator license.
