The opportunity Performs clerical functions associated with the Rework, Shipping, Receiving, Storage, or VAS distribution operations. Functions may include but are not limited to recordkeeping, labor management (LM), E1 (Host System), bar code label applications, research, inventory control, reading / utilizing product specification sheets, identification of product against merchandise description manuals, and receipt / shipment of raw / component materials. This position may require powered equipment operation certification and / or non-powered equipment use. Handles cartons in accordance with business needs by performing pallet picks, case picks, pallet building and putting cases on the conveyor. * Performs daily data entry and report running functions as needed for WMS, labor management, inventory control and product manual research. * Acts as a liaison between teams to coordinate necessary operational activities. * Monitors work order completion and delivery to the production line. * Troubleshoots issues and works solutions to ensure smooth operations. * Gathers needed resources and supplies for work order processing (i.e. UPC tickets, corrugation, wrap stickers, poly bags, hang tags, etc.). * Responsible for accurate record keeping. * Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs. * This opportunity is based in our Sales Marketing and Distribution Team. The requirements * High School Diploma * 6 Months to 1 Year related experience * Work requires almost continuous light physical effort OR frequent moderate physical effort (several times a day) OR occasional heavy physical effort (several times a week). * Significant exposure to several disagreeable conditions or to one very disagreeable condition. * Little or no exposure to hazards; very limited risk of injury or health problems. * May be asked or required to wear PPE to protect from hazards. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) * Basic Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience preferred. * Prior experience operating Radio Frequency (RF) equipment, i.e., scanners, etc. * Good verbal and written communication required. * Must be able to maintain a high degree of focus to promote a safe work environment and prevent injury to others. * Must be able to stand, squat, bend, and lift 50+ lbs. continuously throughout the day. * Must be able to sit and/or stand for a majority of the time. * Must be able to work in a team-based environment. * Hearing required for audible instruction, safety warning, and equipment operation. * Vision required to operate a RF keyboard and/or scanner and to complete required data entry. * Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English language effectively. The opportunity The Business Analyst, IT Applications main function is to perform support related tasks for the Distribution BA team. The Business Analyst, IT Applications will work closely with their IT Distribution BA colleagues to support business resources in the head office and global distribution centers. The mandate will include documenting, resolve production issues, participate in developing solutions, testing and implementing projects or initiatives. The business analyst will be working under the supervision of the Sr. Manager, Applications under the VP, IT Global DevOps who is the link between users and the IT department. This position has a strong IT aspect but is not limited only to IT projects; therefore, the selected candidate may also be involved, in a support role, in the reengineering or design of business processes. The Role * Gather and analyze requirements from Distribution stakeholders to design and propose effective warehouse Management System solutions that align with business objectives. * Design and document Warehouse Management solutions, focusing on usability and optimization of Distribution processes. * Conduct thorough system testing to ensure functionality, accuracy, and efficiency prior to deployment. * Develop training materials and conduct training to the business of new functionalities * Provide ongoing support and maintenance for our Warehouse Management system, including troubleshooting issues and implementing updates. * Participate and collaborate with other IT teams and Business stakeholders in business initiatives and larger scale projects * Provide production support to all our Distribution Centers in general including participation in our on-call support schedule. The Requirements * University degree: IT, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, or equivalent * 2-5 years' experience working in a distribution related environment and inventory control/ management is required combined with supply chain/logistics would be an added asset. * 2-5 years' experience with an ERP (JDE would be an asset) * 2-5 years' experience with a WMS Warehouse Management System (Manhattan would be an asset) * Automated testing tool experience would be an asset * System and process orientation * Strong analytical skills * Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated team skills * Customer service skills and the ability to create and provide user training * Excellent written and oral skills in English, Spanish is an asset * Traveling may be required outside United States - project/Initiative dependent (10% to 30% of the time). The opportunity With supervision, performs maintenance operations from verbal/written instructions and established procedures to get assigned tasks accomplished. Performs intermediate electrical repairs and mechanical maintenance on warehouse distribution equipment and facility systems on a routine basis relying on training and experience to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and keep the warehouse operations functioning in a safe and efficient manner. * Performs minor to intermediate level troubleshooting procedures for mechanical and electrical issues connected with facility, equipment and conveyor systems in accordance with established safety, performance and quality standards. * Installs, uninstalls, repairs and services warehouse conveyors, machinery and equipment and assists with emergency breakdown repairs. * Reads, understands and utilizes technical manuals, electrical and mechanical blueprints, schematics and written instructions to perform basic to intermediate level maintenance. * Draws from technical support sites, customer contacts and internet troubleshooting resources to aid in the repair of equipment. * Performs standard maintenance of HVAC systems and components such as pumps, check valves, thermostats, flow valves and gauges. * Operates hand and power tools to complete general carpentry tasks. * Conducts routine maintenance and inspections on facility safety systems (sprinkler, generator, etc.). * Performs customary predictive, preventative and corrective maintenance tasks in support of the company preventative maintenance program. * Supports company inspection and testing programs including fire and security systems, backup generator, etc. * Logs required information in the company CMMS (emaint) tracking system to maintain parts inventory. * Operates company trucks and material handling equipment. * Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Supervisor to meet business needs. * This opportunity is based in our Sales Marketing and Distribution Team. The requirements * High School or Technical Diploma * 3-5 Years * Work requires almost continuous moderate physical effort everyday, e.g. several hours a day OR Frequent heavy physical effort, e.g. several times a day. * Significant exposure to several disagreeable conditions OR to one very disagreeable condition * Recurring exposure to hazardous elements (such as high voltage electricity and chemicals used in the course of maintaining equipment) or occasional exposure to moderately hazardous elements (heights, temperature variations, greases and oils etc.).
