Job Overview The Investment Operations Director provides support to the Chief Investment Officer (“CIO”) and the Investment Office broadly for the day‑to‑day implementation and monitoring of the approximately $4.3bn Endowment. Additional duties include: Prepare performance and analytic reports. Maintain and enhance risk, liquidity, cash planning and exposure models. Work closely with the University’s Finance Office, custodian, and other outside software and service providers. Assist in the periodic preparation of Investment Subcommittee materials. Provide recommendations for new processes, analysis, and approaches that will enhance the overall effectiveness and accuracy of investment reporting and analysis and streamline workflow. Work Interactions The Director of Operations reports directly to the Chief Investment Officer and interacts with numerous people in the Finance Office. The Director provides critical reporting to the CIO and investment team, which enables portfolio rebalancing, cash management, and risk management. Requirements Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, accounting, or a relevant subject area. CPA preferred. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Coding experience is appreciated but not required. Experience with Solovis, Burgiss, BNY Custodian systems helpful. Detail oriented with strong problem‑solving capabilities and a commitment to data accuracy. Able to learn new systems and workflows quickly. Demonstrated general interest in investments and asset management. Work Mode Designation This position has been designated as Hybrid. The Associate Director of Development, Southeast and Latin America, (ADOD) is responsible for engaging current and cultivating prospective donors in the case for support of Georgetown University and in the pursuit of Georgetown's campaign Called to Be. Reporting to the Senior Director of Regional Development for the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast Regions, the ADOD is responsible for qualifying, cultivating, and actively managing a portfolio of approximately 100-150 major gift and planned giving prospects and is expected to travel at least five days per month in order to meaningfully engage and cultivate a community of support. Additional duties include, but are not limited to: Working with annual metrics, make a minimum of 120-140 visits annually with current and prospective donors who are undergraduate alumni, current and former parents, and friends, having an annual goal of raising $500,000 or more as the portfolio matures and comfortably asking for five-, six- and, in time, seven-figure gifts. Play a critical role in two key areas of fundraising work: building a pipeline of philanthropic support for Georgetown University in the regions as defined, and ensuring a thoughtful and strategic regional market management approach, specifically in Florida and Latin America. Work closely with Development colleagues and partners across campus on specific event planning and execution, principal visits and deployments, and seamless management of prospects that might reside elsewhere for part of the year, thus are constituents who have multiple interests and connection points. Act as a collaborative thought partner willing to approach their work with a team-first mentality. The Associate Director works closely with university leadership, select faculty, high-level volunteer leaders and board members, and the Advancement Donor Relations, Campaign, and Stewardship teams to design high-level donor experiences. The Associate Director must be able to work independently in their outreach to potential donors while also maintaining a sense of collegiality with fellow staff in the Office of Advancement. In addition to the responsibilities related to portfolio work and market management, this position will also have a focus on co-leading a regional philanthropic council, focused on engaging and advancing the mission of the institution and Georgetown's capital campaign. The ADOD is a generalist representing all areas of Georgetown University's campuses and the Called To Be campaign. S/he is expected to be nimble and donor-centric, educated in the content across the many academic units, programs, and initiatives. The portfolio and donor base this position will routinely interact with will undoubtedly have many points of interest and potential for philanthropic partnerships. The requirements and qualifications for this position include: Bachelor's degree At least 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in major gifts fundraising, ideally in higher education institutions, with demonstrable success securing five and low six-figure major gifts A desire to contribute to and participate in the mission of Georgetown University and the Office of Advancement Excellent verbal and written communication skills and highly developed interpersonal interaction skills including the ability to exchange and interpret information requiring understanding to influence others Strong negotiating and marketing skills with the ability to give significant attention to detail Ability to work with a diverse range of constituents, including donors, board members and volunteers as well as alumni, parents, friends, faculty, administrators and internal colleagues Strong computer skills required including all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and Salesforce.com GU360 constituent relationship management system A demonstrated track record of success in meeting gift goals with the ability to effectively collaborate with others Experience fundraising for higher education institutions and with planned giving along with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset preferred This position has been designated as Hybrid. The Associate Registrar for Exams in the LAW Office of the Registrar at Georgetown University bears direct responsibility for the administration of academic policies related to exams. Exam administration is a high stakes and high touch process at Georgetown Law, and the position oversees all aspects of exams, including advising faculty and students, as well as enhancing existing and developing new procedures and services to address emerging needs of the Law Center community. Incumbent works with the Registrars to develop and implement policies and processes that lead to efficient and successful exam administration events. Areas of responsibility include the following: final exam administration; accommodated exam administration in collaboration with the Office of Accessibility Services; mini-course and special exam administration; exam conflict and exam relief; exam review, and communications and publications connected with exams. There are other duties as assigned by the Assistant Dean and Registrar to ensure efficient office operations dedicated to excellent stakeholder service and support. Collaborate with faculty on exam creation, guidelines, and delivery. Oversee accommodated exams in partnership with the Office of Accessibility Services, maintaining confidentiality and equity. Manage exam scheduling, conflict resolution, and student relief requests with fairness and transparency. Collaborate with Capitol Campus UIS partners to implement and enhance exam technologies as well as evaluate new systems and tools. Supervise and develop staff, fostering a collaborative, student-focused team culture This position reports directly to the Assistant Dean and Registrar. The incumbent directly manages the Exam Team, which includes 3 full-time staff members. The Associate Registrar for Exams also supervises and trains approximately 50 temporary proctors brought in to support in-class exam administration. To ensure effective, efficient, and successful exam administration each semester, this position works directly with critical LAW Community stakeholders students, faculty, and campus departments. The Associate Registrar for Exams works directly with students and their individual exam concerns and needs. As a lead exam representative of the Office of the Registrar, which is responsible for the administration of the Law Center's academic policies, this position is expected respond timely, accurately, kindly and fairly to student and faculty issues. The person must be able to use good judgment in presenting student concerns to the Assistant Dean and Registrar and proposing changes to existing policies or procedures in response to those concerns. These issues and concerns often directly impacts students' academic success and the faculty's ability to create, submit, and grade their exams.
