Primary Function:
The Project Manager is responsible for managing the successful execution of EPC projects from pre-mobilization through final completion. This role is accountable for coordinating with field personnel for field execution strategy, subcontractor quoting and selection management, and schedule adherence, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on budget and on time. The ideal candidate is a highly organized leader with strong communication skills and a background in solar or general construction.
The Project Manager serves as the central point of coordination between field crews, subcontractors, engineering teams, and project stakeholders, and maintains a high-level understanding of both technical and operational project elements.
Reporting Relationship: Director of Operations
Pay Grade and Range: $104,235 to $143,844 plus bonus opportunity
Essential Job Functions:
Project Execution & Coordination:Coordination with the construction team for kickoff meetings and proper hand off of informationCommunication of customer expectations to the construction team and able to communicate back to the customer the project statusesManage and adjust project schedules in alignment with real-time field conditions.Subcontractor Management:Obtain quotes, select subcontractors, and achieve contracting Communicate to the subcontractor SOW and Schedule expectationsReview and approve subcontractor invoices based on progress and deliverables.Schedule Management:Build and maintain project schedules in collaboration with Planning & Engineering teams.Identify critical path items and forecast delays or resource needs.Lead lookahead meetings and provide updates to leadership.Construction Administration:Ensure accurate documentation of construction activities, including daily logs, change orders, and RFIs.Use Procore to track progress, manage submittals, and maintain document control.Coordinate with Permitting/Admin Specialist to ensure all permits are in place and compliant throughout execution.Close-Out Support:Coordinate with the close out team on punchlist resolution, inspections, and final walk-throughs.Assist in compiling close-out documentation in collaboration with internal stakeholders.Skills and Other Characteristics:
Self-starter with ability to manage details of multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to create and edit Excel documents that use mathematical formulas and logic. Create, read, and understand construction documents, including electrical diagrams. POSITION SUMMARY
GenPro Energy Solutions is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support the financial and administrative operations of our solar construction projects. This role plays an important part in ensuring that project documentation, billing processes, accounts receivable activities, and administrative functions are completed accurately and efficiently.
The Accounting Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that all administrative and accounting processes are organized, compliant, and aligned with company standards, directly contributing to the overall success and efficiency of our solar construction projects.
PAY GRADE RANGE
$25.00 – $30.00 per hour, based on experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts Receivable & Billing Administration
Prepare and submit American Institute of Architects (AIA) invoices and other project billing documentation.Process incoming customer payments and ensure accurate application to the appropriate project accounts within the ERP system and bank records.Assess monthly finance charges, generate customer statements, and distribute past-due notices.Provide ongoing follow-up with customers to ensure timely payment of outstanding balances.Process occasional customer refunds and ensure proper documentation of transactions.Review and approve sales orders in a timely manner to support project cash flow and financial tracking.Process customer credit applications and review submitted documentation for completeness and accuracy.Project Documentation & Construction Compliance
Prepare and coordinate construction-related documents including lien waivers, project files, and other contract documentation.Coordinate with project managers, accounting personnel, subcontractors, and clients to collect required billing and compliance documentation.Assist with the preparation, signing, and distribution of contract documents and related project paperwork.Obtain and maintain required project documentation such as W-9 forms, certificates of insurance (COIs), tax-exempt certificates, and other regulatory documentation.Maintain organized and accurate project files to ensure easy access and compliance with company policies and project requirements.Administrative & Operational Support
Provide clerical and administrative support to project teams as needed to ensure efficient project execution.Direct incoming phone calls, correspondence, and inquiries to the appropriate subject matter expert or department.Assist guests, visitors, and vendors and direct them to the appropriate personnel or department.Order and maintain inventory of office and operational supplies to ensure teams have necessary materials available.Records Management & Organization
Maintain organized accounting and project records to ensure accurate financial documentation and compliance with company standards.Support accounting and project teams by maintaining accurate documentation related to project billing, customer accounts, and regulatory requirements.Ensure records are stored and maintained in accordance with company procedures and audit requirements.EDUCATION
Associate’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Office Administration, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred but not required.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable within a construction, engineering, or project-based environment.Preferred experience in preparing and processing AIA billing (G702/G703 Applications for Payment), including schedules of values, retainage tracking, and change order integration.Experience working in construction, engineering, energy, or project-based industries preferred.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.Proficiency with construction accounting/ERP software (e.g., Procore, NetSuite, Sage 300 CRE, Viewpoint, Foundation, Textura, or similar).Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial and documentation tasks.Professional demeanor with strong written and verbal communication skills.Skills & Abilities

Primary Function:The Assistant Project Manager (APM) plays a key role in supporting the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager in the successful delivery of solar EPC projects from permitting through project close-out. The APM role serves as a development pathway toward full Project Manager responsibility. The Project Engineer provides hands-on support for engineering tasks and deliverables, helping ensure designs align with safety standards, OSHA requirements, electrical codes, and constructability best practices.
