Genesis10 is currently seeking a Sr. ServiceNow Developer for a 5+ month contract role with our client in Eagan, MN. This role is 100% remote. Job Requirement: We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing and implementing ServiceNow solutions that meet business needs. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, and a deep understanding of ServiceNow best practices. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and modules, including Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, and custom applications. Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and document requirements for new features and enhancements. Customize ServiceNow applications using scripting, workflows, and UI policies to meet specific business needs. Develop integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using REST/SOAP APIs, scripts, and middleware. Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet the quality standards. Create and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow solutions, including design specs, workflows, and data models. Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues within the ServiceNow platform. Stay current with ServiceNow updates, new features, and best practices. Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with Hardware Asset Management experience. Strong knowledge of ServiceNow development including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and Web Services. Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and other relevant methods. Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies related to ServiceNow development. Familiarity with ServiceNow upgrade process and the ability to handle post-upgrade issues. Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), or other ServiceNow modules. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines within ServiceNow. Previous experience working in a consulting or contract-based environment.
