    Duration: 1 year plus four 12-month Option Years

     

    Job Overview: Provide professional technical oversight, quality control, and administrative support to the National Park Service for the replacement of a standalone wastewater treatment plant and effluent piping

     

    Job Responsibilities

    Conduct daily on-site observation of construction activities to monitor quality, document material deliveries, and verify that work is performed in accordance with contract documents.Review and process submittals, RFIs, schedules, payrolls, payment requests and facilitate weekly progress meetingsCoordinate and document preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections; monitor safety compliance, report any accidents immediately and maintain comprehensive project recordsDevelop scope descriptions for contract modifications, perform field investigations, review baseline schedules and Time Impact Analyses (TIAs); prepare Independent Government Estimates (IGEs)

     

    Mandatory Qualifications

    Minimum four-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management, or a related field from an ABET accredited college or university.Minimum five (5) years of relevant construction or engineering work experience, with specific knowledge in construction management, inspection, and project coordination.OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety training.Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) certification.Proficiency in ProjectTeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Adobe Acrobat, Primavera P6, and estimating software (e.g., RSMeans, PlanSwift, or Sage).Valid U.S. state driver’s license.
