    GD Resources LLC is seeking a qualified and experienced technician to provide preventative maintenance, inspection, testing, compliance evaluation, and emergency repair services for medical gas systems at the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System. Services shall be performed in accordance with NFPA 99, Veterans Health Administration (VHA) standards and directives, OSHA requirements, manufacturer recommendations, and applicable industry standards.

    Scope of Services:

    Preventative Maintenance & Testing
    The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, testing instruments, and equipment necessary to perform quarterly preventative maintenance and annual inspection/testing services for the following systems:

    Medical Air SystemsMedical Surgical Vacuum SystemsDental Air SystemsDental Vacuum SystemsMedical Oxygen SystemsNitrogen SystemsNitrous Oxide SystemsWaste Anesthetic Gas Disposal (WAGD) Systems

    Services shall include, but are not limited to:

    Inspection and testing of alarms, gauges, valves, outlets, inlets, pipelines, and control panelsFlow, pressure, purity, particulate contamination, and dew point testingLeak detection and operational pressure testingInspection of compressors, pumps, filters, drains, belts, dryers, and monitoring systemsVerification of labeling, installation integrity, brazing, supports, and identificationTesting for crossed lines and system contaminationMaintenance and adjustment of terminal units, locking mechanisms, O-rings, and fittingsCalibration and verification of alarm systems and warning devicesMedical air purity testing in accordance with NFPA 99 standardsMinor corrective maintenance during inspections at no additional cost

    System Evaluation & Compliance
    The contractor shall evaluate all existing oxygen, medical air, medical vacuum, and nitrous oxide systems for compliance with:

    NFPA 99VHA standards and directivesManufacturer requirementsApplicable healthcare and safety regulations

    Emergency & Urgent Repair Services
    The contractor shall provide emergency and urgent response services as required:

    Emergency response within one (1) hour, 24/7Urgent response within four (4) hoursContinuous repair efforts until system functionality is restored

    Reporting Requirements
    The contractor shall submit inspection and testing reports within five (5) business days following service completion. Reports shall include:

    Cover sheetProperty/facility informationDetailed test resultsCertifications and inspector signaturesDocumentation of deficiencies or recommended repairs

    Project Areas:BillingPolicy Center Diary SystemAudit Installments and Interest Charge EnhancementsKubra Return Payments EnhancementsDisability and Paid Family Leave Insurance Premium Computation and AnalysisQualifications:Systems Architect: Defines architecture of computerized systems including software/hardware components, interfaces, and technologies.Expert (7+ years): Able to guide large teams with extensive industry experience.7+ years of experience developing software for Workers’ Compensation insurance processes (IAIABC guidelines).7+ years in software for billing and collections, including accounts receivable and regulatory compliance.7+ years implementing policy premium calculations and audits for NY Workers’ Compensation Insurance.7+ years in Oracle PL/SQL development (triggers, functions, procedures, packages, views, cursor, file processing, optimization).7+ years as .NET developer (TFS, Visual Studio 2019+).7+ years in web application development (JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSLT, HTML, AJAX).4+ years with Planview PPM Pro (Innotas).Responsibilities:Develop Oracle stored procedures, packages, and triggersDevelop batch applications using .NET and OracleDesign and plan the structure of technology solutionsCommunicate requirements to the application development teamDevelop software using modern web development frameworks
